I bought an older version of this three years ago HU196D. It has been totally reliable and maintains a really good quality picture.

great price for any monitor...

Good buy IMHO especially for those that have older systems with VGA ports as it will future proofed as well - I'll be looking into buying one as well if I can put together the funds for one.

Heat added to the deal as well - good job with this one OP! :-D

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Same here - mine has been a fantastic monitor and I've used it with both the DVI and VGA inputs.

Well worth the money and I prefer it to the widescreens.

Could that monitor be used for playing using a PS3 or is it simply a monitor ?

I've an old monitor, about 400mm deep, so have always fancied a flat screen monitor, just never got around to getting one

thanks !

Yes you should be able to by using HDMI > DVI cable and put DD 5.1 thru optical to amp (choosing 1280x720) on monitor

Had my HC194D for a few years now , still perfect despite being hit in the screen by a falling shelf.

Do we think Misco will be around in 2 months time to pay the cashback?

Anyone notice it itsnt widescreen?

Now that is sweeeet. Wont be watching films, so really didn't want widescreen!

Just ordered two for a dual monitor setup

No probs mate - only thing I'm waiting to hear back from them about is the monitor cables, as it looks like they may come bundled already for both DVI & VGA.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Mine have shipped already. Got an email at half nine this morning. Nice one

Just ordered

Yes, that is a good question. I guess this would classify as preferential debt, although even that does guarantee that you will see your money back.

I ordered it anyway, because I want a second 19" monitor (so I need a DVI input), I like 4:3, and I could also use some sound without speakers cluttering up my desk.

Mine arrived yesterday too. Mailed off the rebate form yesterday too and got a confirmation email today that they have received/processed it!
Impressed.

Monitors are LOVELY too, much nicer than my 7yr olf 15" dell TFT's I had

Note that this link to the claimform has now changed to £15 instead of £25
Anyone who ordered before the 23/03/2009 deadline has 14 days from receipt of their invoice to claim £25, but how do you do it if you haven't already done so ?

In answer to the above question, the link should be
