ITXWEATHER why another thread rather than adding it on to your existing one?

It's a different price MEHIGHLANDER :santa: Also it sends an automated message to notify anyone subscribed to Misco deals :santa:

if you click on the link it shows tv at same price of 299.97 delivery prices unknown

I think Misco delivery is £5.88 :santa:

8% back on quidco for Misco; 2% for Pixmania (don't have a great rep. for returns though). £10.52 delivery for Misco; £14.10 for Pixmania.

So £290ish delivered from Misco = bargain!

direct tvs are not on quid co

This is a Misco thread though

From what little knowledge i have, this seems to have a poor response time, and no mention of HDMI

misco cash back is good

Let's not get to carried away with this though - according to the spec. this thing has a contrast ratio of only 600:1 - the usual default these days is 1200:1

Problem is... there is no industry standard for measuring contrast ratios - that's why you get panels rated at 4,000 no brighter than those rated at 700 (for example).

Could you use this as a PC monitor?

Very tempting though not convinced with quality/spec (respnse time/contrast etc.) and also would have been nice with built in freeview but price seems fantastic if its performs well for a couple of years - what's guarantee period?

Can be used as PC Monitor as it has VGA output.
As for quality / spec, you get what you pay for.
But who can argue with this price for a HD Ready 26inch tv it must be the cheapest on the market.

Mehighlander, This is not a duplicate thread. I'd not post two threads that are the same. The first thread was for a product from directtvs.co.uk and not Misco.co.uk.

This is and is not true. Direct TVs are owned by Laptops Direct and some of the products on their web-site are also on the Laptops Direct web-site so that customers can earn 2% cash-back via Quidco.com.

HTH.

ITX weather apologies
I am fairly new to all this and now understand why you submitted two threads.

Rep added, mines is in tatters, did even know about the function, and that people were giving me bad rep.

MISCO appear not to have any in stock shame as this reading the forums this seem like the best place to go, for delivery, service and cashback. Now considering I should purchase from PIXMANIA

]http//ww…690

bare in mind that pixmania are based in France i think, and sending the tv back if faulty could be costly.

this may of changed now though!

Thanks for this had not made up my mind fully, based on your comment wont proceed back to the drawing board, I am sure I read about a Teco tv.

Arrived yesterday from Misco. Excellent picture and no dead pixels. Got mine hooked up with Xbox running XMBC at 720p via component. Also feeding SD Freeview via RGB Scart. :-D

Excellent fast service from Misco.

Heat & Rep added.
