I know that this won't be to everybody's taste with it being a Hannpsree.

With a 13.3" full HD screen it does bridge a gap between the more common 10" tablets and a standard 15.6" laptop, so might suit somebody that wants the convenience of a tablet but with a screen closer to the more desirable general use size of a laptop.

If you don't like Misco then Ebuyer sell it delivered for just a tad extra at £169.95

This makes the Galaxy Tab 12.2 look a bit puny! Is the screen any good?

Misco are generally more business orientated but still a good retailer, same as Ebuyer for deliveries, customer service etc, never had an issue with them personally and I use for both business and personal stuff.

Misco are fine. I would never knowingly buy anything from ebuyer again.

Looks good to me, plus 13" this would be ideal for SEN work in schools.

specs from a few years ago. had tabs with that processor and its heavy on battery. can't find reviews anywhere.

For what it's worth, probably not a lot, I've bought a fair few Hannspree products in the past and find their built quality good but with mediocre parts, for example less sleek exteriors.
Never seen one of their tablets though.

I bought this tablet from QVC over a year ago & sold it quickly after it would not run Sky player just kept saying something about it being routed I don't know what that is so not recommended if you want sky also its not much lighter than my full size laptop so what's the point

Sorry but I have found them to be awful. They post good deals and then email you to say 'sorry we're out of stock, you'll get your money back in ten days'. Terrible company

the hannspad is in no way comparable to the lenovo in terms of cpu, lenovo has better display, built in projector and anypen technology.

Having had 2 Hannspree tablets in the past, and them both developing the same crippling glitch after only a couple of months, I would avoid this like the plague.

I am interested in buying Galaxy note 12.2 pro or Lenova Yoga Tablet 2 13.3. Which one will be better? Thanks

one thing to note if your considering buying it somewhere it said "upto 4 hrs battery life" lol. It's a big battery but it is also a big hires screen. I remember having "china tabs" with the same processor that exhausted the battery very quickly.

All that space allowed behind the screen but they still add huge bezels. Could do with a higher resolution 2 at that size. Like the look of lenovo yoga 2 13.3

The yoga 2 13.3 is nice but it is more than twice the price and therefore would more likely have a higher resolution.

attempted! but only 4 hours battery life...

i wish i had the abilty to resist.....coming tommorrow. Seems ok for the price and spec. considering the cost of the sammy and lenovo.

forgot to say 5 quid cheaper @ ebuyer.

You think 1080p is too low for a 13.3" display? Really?

Will be interested to hear of your experience of use of it.

I have the lenovo, in fact it has replaced my desktop. I'm a fairly heavy user and I still get a whole day out of the battery. the projector is a nice added bonus, although I will only use it sporadically. i got mine from Amazon warehouse for £265

yep. really. my 5.5" phone has 2560x1440 resolution. so does a tab 8.4". 1080p is ok for anything upto 10.1". but above that shoud be QHD display for modern tablets

£265 is a cracking price.

Do you have a link to where it can be purchased at that price?

Because no matter how small the screen, more pixels is always better and noticeable, right?
What a joke. Those marketing people just love gullible sods like you.

It's not dumb. It's an opinion. Everyone has a right to an opinion. That's why every post has a thread so people can voice their opinions.

did anyone buy one of these and if so what is it like?

arandomusername

Yes my friend I did. He are my thoughts:

Massive screen Plus
Decent res Plus
Netflix is great on this

However......

Although it has 16 GB storage it stupidly cut in 2GB/14GB split. Which means you have to feck about with moving apps etc. (why in 2015 they did this is anybody's guess).
No gps (but I knew that).
Battery got pounded, 1 episode of Falling skies @ 720p, some internet browsing, installation of app and fiddling about with them. Battery nearly spent. so not great.
Mini HDMI not micro (just me not reading the spec properly)

Also had some screen corruption within the first 15 minutes (the main reason why is going back), which did not fill me with confidence.

I am unfortunately returning it to misco which is shame as it had so much to over just poorly executed.

Although I am keeping the Targus slip case I bought for it as it will be used for my ASUS 10 hybrid and when I can afford it my Samsung Note Pro 12.2(or the coming 13 incher from Samsung) from the states(cheaper and you can get the 64GB edition). You do get what you pay in the end ...... unless you can find a voucher that is

what also did it for me I never took the protective plastic of the device....a sure sign it was not going to be all gravy.

The device would of lived with the following:
ASUS Memo HD tablet -- Boss
ASUS T100 - Boss
ASUS T103 - Boss
Mutilple WIndows Laptops
HP DM 260 G1 - Boss (Yes thank you again UKHD) -- Highly recommend this for a htpc. cheap and does the job when you find the extra bits you need (PM if you want the links)

I hope this helps someone else.

SADLY I had the Hannspree HANNSpad a while back, and it was VERY nice, until the update a few weeks later, where we found we, (HANNSpad owners) had different issues...Wouldn't start up,or Camera packed up,and/or tablet now VERY slow.

All things considered, price for example wouldn't a WINDOWS Tablet/Laptop be a better buy?

Totally agree with this. Their tablets have some really good specs and nice features, but they're just so glitchy and badly made. It's so disappointing. It's like they just throw them together.

Right thought I would just vent mu splean re Misco. Just phoned them up to return my tab as faulty (screen corruption and reboot) and was advised it had to go through warranty repair. After only having it 4 days I advised them that I want a refund not a fix/Repair or cuddly toy. Have eventually got an RMA but I expect I am going to have to call Paypal to get my money back and let them fight it out. First time I have returned a product to Misco and am disappointed to say the least.

Looks like a good deal.

Really sorry to hear about your issues. What did the tablet feel like assuming those issues were fixed?
I always try an buy from amazon even if its a fiar bit more expensive because, as far as I have experienced, they just take stuff back with no questions asked. About 3 months ago I bought xperia Z3 tablet and it was a warehouse deal. The screen started to go so they just took it back no questions asked.
