Got the 28" myself and they are pretty damn good TV's. Voted hot.

Oh why so much temptation when i dont need a new TV!
Hot!

got this when for my niece last week at the same price, brilliant TV. She use's it for her xbox360 @ 1080p and watch's SD TV and that looks great also.

Good find, great value TV.

Bought one of these about a month ago for spare bedroom , great connected to PC or Xbox360 , standard freeview good pic aswell .

Which company is that?

I bought one a couple of weeks back day when it was £170...excellent display. Using it as a monitor at the moment.

Does this have a VESA mount at the rear? Thanks.

Great TV, bought for my sisters Birthday a month ago. She loves it.

Bargain! I'd buy one if I didn't need the cash right now.

Why does the description make it sound like you are buying a warranty? Ha ha

Anyone know why it's 25"? :P

You normally either find 24" monitors or 26" TV's - never seen a 25" TV.

nice size for the price but the specs put me off Power Consumption Operating: 65w ouch not very green Contrast Ratio 800:1 abit low

Does it have a headphone jack?

seems great value.

65W being the same as an old style light bulb, I don't think that's very power hungry for a TV

I am about to buy my first LCD TV. This looks attractive.

i have this. i dont think it uses that much power, mine hardly gets warm no matter how long its on for.

i turned off the x-contrast as it was visibly annoying, keeping changing the brightness, and i didnt notice any improvement of picture with it on anyway.

IT has a headphone jack on the back.

Gets very good freeview reception, i get better siginal and more channels for this tv off a small indoor ariel, then another tv off of main roof ariel.

If using as a pc monitor for hdmi then make sure to turn the sharpness down to 0 otherwise text gets messed up as the tv is trying to make it so sharp.

Mine does have a backlight bleed along the bottom edge, which makes the blacks brighter for about 1cm along the bottom.

But at this price who cares. Is a great TV, not one single regret buying it.

Bought one of these for the bedroom and sent it back, backlight bleed at top and bottom of screen, SD picture from inbuilt freeview tuner looked awful as did RGB DVD playback over SCART. HDMI from a PC was OK. Looks to be a cheap LCD with a pretty poor tuner added to it. Avoid.

tut. no USB for divx stuff. Pity.

whatdya reckon input "tuner" is?

I posted the following up when this was last on HUKD. Hope its useful to someone

Taking into account the great price and tweaking a few settings I'm really happy with the quality of the picture. Haven't had chance to hook it upto a tv source yet but runing some 1080p content through it, it's pretty damn good :)I'd recommend taking the picture softness down to 0 and generally messing about with the picture settings as the defaults aren't great IMO.I've included a few photos too for anyone who is interested as the ebuyer photos aren't very big.

ah "tuner" = aerial coax?

I also ordered and returned this TV. As a previous post states there are 'brighter strips' top and bottom of the screen, which were especially noticeable when the room was dark. (bedroom at night). Also found the volume, even at the lowest level, was still to loud for late night viewing in a bedroom. Freeview tuner seemed ok and was easy to set up.
I purchased the 26" Lowry from Morrisons for £150 and found it had a slightly better picture, imo, with the bonus of USB record.

Forgot about that, especially important if you have a toddler who wants to watch "Beebies" on a morning while you try and sleep.

I bought a Samsung 26" from Amazon Warehouse Deals for £207, it's leagues ahead of the Hannspree in both PQ and user interface (of the freeview tuner).

Bought this, It has a suprisingly good picture quality from my laptop, and the set top box. The freeview looks great aswell. The stock picture settings are not good, but after 2 mins of setting up you can get a really nice picture. I would recommend it to all my friends.

This is why I am never improving my savings account!

LOL obviously it is it is also £57 more expensive. and In TV Terms that is a big difference in price.

Hows the sound on this thing, does it have that tin like or muffled like sound that small lcds are known to have?

Anyone know how to switch from freeview to annalogue on this set
??
