Bout of insomnia led me to find this.

It was selling for nearly £500 just a day or so ago, microdirect were allegedly selling it for £299 but it seems that was an error.

It's the better model than the Hannspree YT models which were also selling for £370 a few days ago.

BT shop do this @£365 + quidco

There are mixed reviews on this tv,mainly people saying about the backlight showing through on black colours and also motion blur, they say its great on xbox 360 but on standard tv its pixilated, maybe they are expecting too much out of a budget tv ? would be interested to hear of anyone who has one of these as they seem like such a bargain,i know ebuyer filter out really bad reviews so you have to look in other forums for reviews....

the avforums ]http//ww…om/ don't have much good to say about it or the 32" version a friend was gong to get it till he read them.

Got one of these af ew weeks ago from directtvs.co.uk and am actually very impressed with it for the price. The first few days we thought we had made a mistake in buying it as it seemed quite blurry but the picture seems to have improved overtime! Not quite as sharp as my brothers Samsung but at 1/3 of the price certainly no difference to complain about!

Cold - because posted many times before, and cheaper elsewhere. I actually brought mine from BT.

The actual TV itself is indeed very good value for money, but it's more of a display panel for games console/PC-via-HDMI. (played a few game demos on it, looked great). However if for TV/films, it's pathetic, blacks are . . . well completely washed out grey (whites are not too bad). Colours are bad, very bad ghosting, a bit blocky etc. As a 2nd TV, TV for Kids, Games Tv - this would be absolutely great for the money. But I wanted it for mainly TV/films so I sent it back for a refund at the end. (of course my opinion is subjective, I'm a fussy person, technical background, and my main TV is mid-end Plasma. If you the dosh, then get the Pioneer KURO which is simply the best flat TV so far, I would if I could afford it).

i got one of these about 4 days or so ago, i think its brilliant. my ps3 is hooked up at present along with my pc and i have no compliants about it yet.

of course its not as good as a top end tv as everyone keeps saying, but for the price, and the quality of it you cant complain.

ps3 looks great on it, the detail is sharp and colours are vibrant, havent had any blurs so far, as far as i can see the backlight doesnt show through the black.

i have tried films on it too and they dont seem to blur either, still good quality,.

i havent tried it with my freeview yet as i need an amplified ariel for it, but im sure that would be good too!

it also has 2 HDMI ports which is handy, VGA port and all the other normal ones. and for ther people that say the remote takes a while for response, i havent found that either, just gotta point it at the receiver properly.

i got mine from clearancebuys.co.uk for £377 which included next day delivery which was very prompt, i think it got here by 9:20am and in perfect condition.

if you want a cheaper tv that is still great quality, this is it, enough said.
