It's £119 after the discount code. Decent spec and good value at that price. Heat

Gutted, just bought this for about £145 from Saverstore!!! Tablet is awesome, screen blows away similar priced competition, watched Masterchef on it last night on TV Catchup and it looked fantastic! That price at Asda is ridiculous at £119.

Hannspree make superb monitors and TV's. Displays are always excellent. This sounds like a fantasic deal. Especially considering the quad-core processor.

If anyone wants to see the full specs for this tablet:

Hannspree SN1AT71W

I've had a Hannspree TV for about 6 years and never had any trouble with it - the picture isn't superb but I wouldn't expect it to be for the price I paid

Great thanks, Don't know much about tablets ! but seems like a good deal, bought for my 7 year old grand daughter,

2 year warranty is also a nice sweetner.
this or Nook HD+?

Hmm... isnt 1280 x 800 pretty poor res for a 10.1" even at this price point

This or a Lenovo S6000 (bought the latter already but tempted to return it and get this for £30 less?)

Same resolution as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1" which costs £150 more. Yes I know you get more with the Samsung, but if the res is good enough for them...!

not used it repeatedly yet as it's a new purchase but was watching TV Catchup on it on and off all night last night and still had over half power at the end...seems pretty good.

it says you have to pay £29 for the 2 year warranty.

Can this be seen in store?

Def comes with 2 year warranty as standard, don't need to upgrade. I called the Hannspree store to check, one of reasons i bought it too.

Out of stock

Back in stock - good deal

Not a bad spec at all for the price and size, not unlike the Acer A210. I dont understand why people pay for extended guarentees given all electrical equipment sold in the UK automatically comes with a minimum 2 year guarentee in law under section 17 of European directive 1999/44/EC and possibly longer under the SOGA.

Yes, unless you get a camoflage case for it, then no chance!

Says the front camera is 0.3MP. Is that any good for things like Skype. Sorry, don't know much about tablets, but want to get one for my mum.

You might as well get one of the kids to draw you in crayons

Your not voting on the previous generation Hannspad though, your supposed to be voting on this product and its price, which I might add is a vastly superior model to the old one in so many ways and this price is far more attractive compared to the the previous generation of Hannspad. Voted hot on price and spec.

Only if you can prove that the device was faulty/non-conformant upon manufacture.

Looks a nice bit of kit for £119 to me. good spot OP, have some heat.

a very reasonable spec and price
thanks op. nice post

I got this from ebuyer while ago. Very slow very bad and after a few days it froze up altogether, had to go back for full refund. Now am a happy iPad user since then...

Avoid.

I really dont understand why people waste time and money on these cheap, sub standard tablets. I've been there and now just stick to the main big name brands. nexus, samsung and apple

Which is better, this or the nook hd+?

Possibly because some people have a budget and may not be able to afford a £300+ branded tablet so they look at the budget tablets and try to pick out the best that money can buy at that end of the scale. Also not everyone would feel comfortable handing over a £500 iPad to a toddler or young child to use.

Carry on you will regret buying them. Not going to effect me I'm happy with my Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 I got for £129
