I have one of these and is a gr8 set @ a gr8 price. Cant fault it. There is however talk that the YT07 is not quite as good as the YT08.

this is the older model (there is now an E2 version with different specs) with lower contrast levels that its replacement, nvertheless, very little money for what some say is a good set...

whats the new model i emailed Teleland about one of these and they emailed back and said the yt is the new model and the JT is the old model, anyone know.

XV YT's, both 32" (07) and 37" (08 ) are not really 'old' models as they have yet to be directly replaced.
The latest XV JT02-37E2 is a newer model with a better spec, but it isn't a direct replacement to the YT as the YT are matt grey rather than piano black and had (at the time of launch) a higher current spec in E1 version - they were effectively the 'luxury' model in the XV range.
Presumably there will be an updated E2 of the YT soon which will be superior again to the JT E2, just depends if you like the matt grey look. If not and in the meantime, I'd recommend the JT E2.

Aria have an Arianet 37" going for £399 uses a Samsung panel, might be worth a look as well.

£110 for 5 inches?

You say that but you have to work out the maths of this.

32"
Total viewing area is 438.03 sq in.
At £299, that's 1.46in per quid.

37"
Total viewing area is 582.82 sq in.
At £399 that's.... 1.46in per quid.

but there's a deal on here for the 32" at £290, so that tips the balance.

heh True, the point would be that 32-37 isn't "5inches", it's a %age thing.

Possibly, the panel is only part of the equation tho. The software used to drive the panel makes a big difference.

And I wonder what the difference is between POP and PIP?
