Bottled water at a motorway service station. Last week in an M1 services a small bottle in the fridge was £1.50. Made the packet of six of the exact same bottles for £1.85 on the shelf seem a bargain. I now have 5 unopened bottles in my car for future use.

Is today one of those select thursdays then? I don't see an offer in my app - or will it pop up at 2pm?

How about manufacturer printer inks and perfumes/aftershaves?

Actually Brexit probably wins...
I'd rather pay taxes. Tax avoiding companies like this one are easy to avoid, support your local stores or at least the bigger companies that contribute towards society.
"handcrafted"
Whenever I try to use these Starbucks deals, they aren't valid in the Starbucks I want to go to. You can't seem to use them in cinema ones for example.

I agree with this. Saying that, I still use Amazon, but i have been trying to reduce what i spend with them
Main issue I have with Starbucks drinks is they cannot make any drink consistently the same. If they were to make 5 of the same latte, each one would be different and yet they are all supposedly trained. Some are undrinkable and at £3.50 a pop!
This is an American promotion not UK

When you say "contribute towards society" I assume you have chosen to over look the amount of people they employ in the UK all of whom pay tax and national insurance which then ends up in the treasuries coffers or does this not fit with your agenda?

Not the fact that if they closed (because all of sudden they had to contribute taxes to the treasury) that some small business would not take over, employ people like wise and pay its tax at the appropriate rate. I dont get this arguement, also I dont get the fact that all of a sudden which ever big company were forced to pay taxes that all of a sudden they would cut the work force.... I'm sure amazon Starbucks etc would still be making a more than comfortable profit in the uk. Also if you talk about contributing tax and insurance I'm pretty sure most these companies will employ people at minimum wage on part time contracts, meaning they'll probably paying no tax either.

Both wrong. The answer is Cadbury Freddo

I assume you’ve never bought decent coffee beans. Or a proper espresso machine. Or a proper grinder. Or the skills of a barista.

I used to think that drinking coffee out was massively overpriced until I started getting into it myself. The effort, knowledge, preparation, equipment (and the upkeep) all adds up.

Starbucks isn’t a great example of this, if I’m honest, because they’re not very consistent but ~£3.50 for a cup is somewhat reasonable when you consider it.

Why do you think this? I really hope not.
I got an email and I’m in the UK.

So your answer is to keep allowing huge corporations to get away with not paying millions upon millions of pounds worth of tax because they give us work. What about all the great stuff we could do with the money they avoid paying? If people stopped buying their crap to the point that their profits took a hit they would probably change their greedy ways. Google Rutger Bregman, he's great.

I don’t think you should be on HUKD with this tone in mind. Please stay cool on your moral high ground , it must be beautiful civilised and moral there.
I do like my coffee and I actually like Starbucks. But last year after seeing a deal on hukd I bought a bean to cup coffee machine which was supposedly over £1000 but got it for £450 at John Lewis on a pricing mistake.
ive never looked back, I get my beans and syrups from TKMaxx, me and the Mrs have two of 3 easily each day. It’s more than paid for itself

Not when other coffee shops can charge less for the same beverages. Starbucks are expensive, and very inconsistent with quality.

I did mention that Starbucks isn’t the best example because they’re inconsistent. However, I still maintain they’re moderately cheap.

The artisan coffee shops around me are much more expensive, have less choice (no matter to me, I take mine Whoopie Goldberg, I do like a bean choice though) and in smaller cups. Admittedly, yes the final product is much better and a tonne more consistent, but that comes at a cost.

The sit in experience is not great at starbucks. The chairs aren't very comfortable and tables are often left dirty with previous customers mugs.

I often ignore the artisan coffee shops because as you say they can be more expensive! I like my local costa - fair prices, welcoming, consistently good and nice to sit in.

You pay next to no tax or national insurance on minimum wage jobs, even more true when you are on zero hours. The biggest government income from Starbucks is probably the vat on the drinks.
Best place for a cheap coffee is Wetherspoons. Lavazza at £1.25 round here, free refills. I admit you can't get 50 variants of a coffee, but if you can find a nice one it's a bargain.

Yet you don't see a problem with 3 of your previous deals that you've posted being Starbucks related and one being Amazon.
