I was going to post this late last night as I’ve been waiting for the price to drop, but every time it is people always go on about how this was £19.99, or £24.99 or £29.99. And then complain it’s not true 4K for the first two films, then the deal goes cold. It just ends up being a waste of time.

Quoting:
Its a "forum fallacy" that 4K streams are equivalent to a 1080 blu-ray - no-one who's actually tried them would ever say this.
Itunes has Dolby Vision and Atmos
It is true that lossless audio off blu-ray and UHD blu-ray is better than streamed audio.
It's also true that the quality of the 4K stream depends a lot on the mastering / quality of the original

But for a recent or well mastered 4K film the quality of the itunes stream is close enough to UHD blu-ray especially when on offer for a few quid a film.

Lol dude when you're watching it at streaming bitrate rather than a 4k bluray it doesn't really matter does it?

Go watch a grade A native 4K film stream and say it doesn’t look way better than the same title on Blu-ray.

If you want to pixel peep against a 4K Blu-ray, you might see minor differences, but I don’t watch films with my nose 2 feet from the screen. The price difference just isn’t worth it.

Fair enough. Perhaps that is the case. I just find it strange on one hand pointing out the difference between a native 4k film stream and one that's not while at the same time knocking the difference between a stream and a 4k Blu-ray.

For me I buy the ones I care enough about on a 4k Blu-ray and the ones I just want to simply watch / re-watch 4k hdr/DV/DA on iTunes store. There is a perceivable difference for me but I don't necessarily mind it.

How does that make it a waste of time? Who cares how it is voted, if a couple people buy it from your deal you win.
