Only someone with more money than sense would pay £24 for 4 pairs of socks, but each to their own

I'm sure Peter Jones wears socks like these and he has plenty if sense. Just because something is expensive it doesn't mean your stupid for buying it. If you can afford to spend £24 on socks then why not. What's the point in having a lot of money if your not going to spend it.
get down to TKMaxx; I recall seeing them for about £10

£10 for 4 pairs!?
Bargain
Lots of good designs, but they're actually quite short for dress socks based on the three or four pairs I have.

Happy Socks website has a decent selection on the outlet for ~£7 each with free delivery if you'd rather select the designs.

These are actually inexpensive socks. Proper ones are £12-17 each. Not sure of Happy Socks quality, but can vouch for brands like Berlington (German) and Duchamp (British brand, but socks made in Italy). Not only are they more comfortable and look better, but they last far longer than cheap socks, so you actually don't spend much more on the long run.

Careful with TkMaxx. Some items are great, but I have seen them selling fake socks, such as Duchamp multi-packs made in Turkey.

That's true, you buy a good pair, will last you years.
Nice designs but not for me as I’m not flamboyant enough.

I am, but not £24 for socks flamboyant.

I *think* this may be a pack of 4 socks not 4 pairs.... I think these are to be worn as deliberately odd socks
Cheap, hot
