Next best is £5.49 at HMV. Some of these were marked up at £5, others at £3. I got a £3 and it was indeed that. NOT THE SAME DISC SELLING FOR £1 AT VARIOUS OUTLETS.

This is NOT the barebones Prism Leisure disc. This version includes original Cantonese audio, DTS sound and the film in widescreen.

When a lone cop in a city of violence decides to wage war against its many gangs, he does so by playing them at their own deadly game. Soon, Inspector 'Tequila' Yuan (Chow Yun Fat - Bulletproof Monk, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) comes face to face with Tony (Tony Leung - In the Mood for Love and Internal Affairs), a hardened and lethal assassin. These two enter into a dangerous game of cunning and bloodshed that will climax in a final scene of bullets and betrayal.

Nice one , genuine action classic. If you are lucky enough to have an x box or ps3, give stranglehold a whirl for a short but sweet tequila blast.

Great film, even better with cantonese audio.

Excellent buy as it has the original Cantonese audio.

The English dubbed version is a complete joke, totally unwatchable.

With a name like 'Tequila' you can't go wrong! Voted Hot.

this movie is WILD lol prefer the killer though, anyone know if this is digitally remastered??

One of the best action classic Asian films ever made. Even better with original Cantonese audio, DTS sound & in widescreen. Most English dubbed Asian films do sound funny & very cheesy but can be have a hilarious dialogue.

H&R added.

I like my DVDs like my eggs: HARD BOILED

There have been many poor releases of this film (even buy Tartan themselves), but this version is the best. The Film transfer is great.

It is indeed remastered. Very good transfer. The opening credits are windowboxed, for some reason.
