EDIT: NOPE ITS A SAMPLE! damn it! expired the thread as do't want folk losing out)

I deliberated as to kindle or hardback of Edward Snowden's newly released book on Amazon after a price drop from £15.00 (ish) which then dropped to £12.94 or similar, compared to an e-edition for close to £11.99

But the bullet & went for hardback.. a few hours later there was a notification on kindle, "while you are waiting" ..why not read the digital edition!? ...thinking this was sales tactics I ignored it, but latterly find that if you buy the hardback currently the sneaky so & so's now include a complimentary digital auto download! ...added value

My copy was delivered on monday, the price of the e-edition has gone up nigh on the same price as the hardback... Hope this helps anyone looking to gift a copy currently

I've already read this. If I hadn't already thought he was a legend, I would now. Really great read adding more detail to his admirable story.
A real modern rebel and legend.
At least he's now living in a country that doesn't spy on people.

I love how amazon do this with most cds too. So if you're a bit dodgy/enterprising. You can buy the physical copy then sell it keep the digital.

One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist
which makes american snooping what?
Is this the one I read about few days ago that he would be making a book?

The pulp mills make the paper, the printers print the paper, the bookbinders bind, etc.. but we get your drift!
Who he? Never heard of him
Just ordered, thanks OP.

Will keep an eye out for the Kindle version to appear.

Hot.
Is it the full kindle book, Amazon have offered a kindle sample for a while when you buy a physical bookso you can start reading while a book ships.
I'll wait for the leaked version, add to my calibre library

You would have heard of his work though... Maybe a google search is in order.
This man has single handedly done one of the most honourable and brave things done in recent history.

Whilst it would be in the spirit of Edward snowden.. I think in this case we should do what we can to support him.

Ah, cripes, you may want to cancel ..I just read the updated question posed by gavin1 ..(who clearly has had this happen before)
ITS NOT THE FULL BOOK! ..will expire asap!
Azzin, hopefully this gives you the chance to cancel if needed!
Didn't see this level of support for Assange

One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist

No, it isnt. Terrorist has a defined meaning and Snowdon doesnt fit that term. You could substitute 'inconvenience' instead.. you need a dictionary, if you dont know what it is get a thesaurus and work your way up.

Humanity and generally accepted norms will show which actions are acceptable or not.

Telling the truth in the face of tyranny is always honarable behaviour.
