Have to laugh, this wine is "on offer" at Sainsbury's for £5.49 at the moment down from £10.99. Also £10.99 at Tesco. I bought some last year for £3 a bottle from the Co-op which seemed about right. Struggled trying to find reviews of this wine but there's one below.

Prestige de Calvet Bordeaux Rouge Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 (£10-50-£11 Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons)
Quite simple, but has a friendly roundness, with juicy crunchy plum, blackcurrant and blueberry flesh and a touch of toffee. But a daft price. C+

I'm sure you know the difference between 2010 & 2011.

Years of harvest make quite a difference.

Plus you are saying £5.49/ bottle & £10.99 / bottle and somehow you think that's better value that £3.80 a bottle?

Top tip cheers 36 bottles of Flexinet ordered

Put 6 bottles of that Prestige de Calvet into my basket, entered all my details etc etc, then went to order and it told me it didn't have enough inventory! When before it had said it had 'plenty'. Silly way for a website to work, and now the HUKD community has cleared out the rest. *sigh*

Yes!CATA052 works with repeat orders!just bought another 12 bottles of Tempranillo !go for it!

OMG did the ironing but then had to go back for some Freixenet this is putting a dent in my card lol

OOS again

Brilliant find. Love this wine. Just ordered 12 bottles

Out of stock currently for me, which is a shame as I quite like this wine. It'll probably be back at some point, however...

oh damn ive spent £160 by seeing this deal!!!!

Ordered the Torres, Sangre de toro - Top find!!

OOS, oh well can't say I'm the biggest fan of Hardy's but at £3 a bottle would have been worth a go!

Yes, 2011 was a very average year for Bordeaux whereas 2009 and 2010 were top notch. Did you know that ?

What I was commenting on (and you appear to have completely missed the point) was Sainsbury's and Tesco have the cheek to sell this wine at (imho) vastly inflated prices and even in these two Bordeaux vintages of unprecedented quality and consistency (2009/10) this wine was still getting unfavourable reviews. £3.82 a bottle isn't a bargain, it's about the right price. If people are happy with it, fine but I've still got about 5 bottles in my "cellar" (under the stairs :D) that I have no reason to drink. I won't even give it away as presents as I don't think it's good enough.

I've put a couple of Bordeaux vintage charts below that might come in handy for you

2011 Bordeaux Wine vintage. An average year with the best red wines coming from Pomerol and St. Emilion that could be described as classic. The wines are fresh, bright and acidic and focus more on red fruit than darker berries. It’s another very successful year for Sauternes. For most wines, it’s an early drinking vintage. 89 Pts

2010 Bordeaux Wine vintage – Very good year for wines from all Bordeaux appellations. Tannic, powerful, structured and rich, the best wines need 15-20 or more years to develop. Margaux, Pauillac, Pessac Leognan and St. Emilion are the best regions. Sauternes was also successful. Hold 97 Pts

2009 Bordeaux Wine vintage – Great year with a wonderful style. The wines are ripe, sexy and lush. Pomerol, Pauillac, Pessac Leognan and St. Estephe produced the best Bordeaux wines. Hold 97 Pts

^^^ this ... ridiculous ... must have been this price on a hidden shelf in huddersfield for the requisite three weeks ... never more than £4.49 normally ... so treat this as a good discount but not a massive one
