A lot of other good wines at 3 for £10 at this link.

I usually buy this one and I find it very easy to drink, smooth and velvety.

Dunno why this isn't scorching really - was just about to post this when I searched first...

This is Hardy's Nottage Hill Cabernet Shiraz - and the Chardonnay. These wines are not your usual run of the mill ones that Asda/Tesco/whatever put in 3 for £10 deals - this wine normally retails at around £7.

The link the OP posted is also very good for seeing what else in on offer, but these two are the best by a country mile.

Never bough from ASDA online before....how much is delivery?

I think it varies depending on your delivery slot/date. Around a 5er.

Coastal Vineyards at Home Bargains on 3 for £10 "white or Red" usually £9-£10 a bottle !!

I've always found the Asda deals a bit nasty and prefer the Sainsburys ones.........................but I bought 3 of these Hardys Cabernet Shiraz and they are well worth the money.

Best 3 for £10 red wine i've had from anywhere so far:thumbsup:

.. at which price nobody ever buys it, because everyone knows this is a £4-£4.50 wine. Its only ever £7 so that it can be reduced to a lower price later to look like a bargain.

Good deal though if you like Hardys' cheapos

The Blossom Hill Grenache is also back in their 3 for £10 (usually £4.59 ea). Not as nice as the Jacobs Creek Grenache but still great value if you like that grape blend.

I've frequently bought it at around the £7 mark.

I think you'll find it retails at that price in shops that don't discount to the level of the supermarkets -more importantly, it's never reduced to this level - which is the point of the deal.

It's also far superior to the Hardy's Cheapos' you're talking about - which would be the Voyage and Stamp ranges - it's clear you don't really know what you're talking about.

It IS a bargain.

I've frequently bought it at £4.50. Maybe you're just gullible :-D

Having visited Hardys a number of times over the past ten years, I can assure you that this is most definitely at the cheap(o) end of their extensive range of wines to the extent that, should you be there for a tasting and some shopping, it won't even be offered to you.

I'll not bother pointing out the logical flaw in your argument that states that it is never discounted to this level, but is (oops, I just did... Sorry!)

To bring this topic into focus (for a minute), this is a very decent wine for only £3.33 a bottle.

If it's not your cuppa, then fine, but if that is your opinion... I'd love to hear about what other good reds are currently on sale for this price.

So, £4.50 is the same as £3.33 now? Back to school for you!

There's no argument here, £4.50 is clearly more than £3.33.

Who's the fool now?

Got 6 bottles of the Cabernet Shiraz (2007 vintage on bottle) today at asda Brighton, normally listed at £7.48,. (saving of £24.88 for 6 bottles 3 for £10 deal =t £3.33 per bottle).

For Info:
Asda better deal than Tesco.

Tesco online grocery listed as 2005/06 vintage, but can't guarantee vintage at delivery.

Tesco wine by the case (non vintage) Case on sale 31% off, Was £41.28 per case (of 6) Now £28.44 per case Equivalent to £4.74 per bottle (still more expensive than Asda's deal)
tesco.com/win…781

Slightly off topic anyone tried this one Angel Bay? (also in promotion from £7.98 per bottle to 3 for £10). Just curious ta.
