I really want to buy this...must resist...must resist....overspent already this month. Will get it next month if price remains the same. I hate pots that don't pour. Anyone recommend for actually doing what it's supposed to?

It's the second to last day of the month!

It's great for drip coffee like V60. Generally with drip machines or less accurate kettles the drop is concentrated to one spot. The spout on this kettle allows accurate pouring with no over spill so all the grinds can get the same amount of coverage. If you some of the grinds extract more than other others then you will get over and/or under extraction - over will cause a bitter brew, under cause a weak body.

Also with summer coming up it will be good for cold brews. Choose a sweet bean such as a Natural Processed (sometimes called honey process) and pour freshly (hot) brewed onto ice. Easy to remember: 20g of coffee, 200g of ice, 200g of water per cup. It should take about three minutes to extract all the water during a slow pour.

1g = 1ml of water.

I work in the coffee roasting business so if you have any questions PM me and I'll try and help.

damn you will have to get this to go with my v60 scale , aeropress and hario skeleton
coffee bore alert

It's a portal into a dark (roasted) world I never knew existed...

Seems like some in this thread find it a challenge. My sympathies.

How are you supposed to maintain your temps with this?

Clearly not a coffee person are we...

Was going to order, the end of the month crept up quick on me and I hadn't realised how close it was, but has gone up, so will have to wait until it goes down again. I love coffee! My friends family have coffee plantations, so I get freshly roasted beans when she comes back from holiday.
Pouring isn't a problem for me, it's the pots! They dribble down the spout when pouring, which annoys me!
