60w is for the wired version, it would have been amazing the wireless one to be so powerful.

Ah apologies, not sure how I ended up on the specs for the wired device I'll delete my comment so as not to accidentally mislead anyone!

I think the poor reviews are rather related to Alexa than to the sound quality. If Alexa or Google is the reason you want a smart speaker, probably going with with the originals is a safer bet, it looks most of the 3rd party speakers are having problems withe the integration or are limited. But for sound quality, I do not know if you can get anything at under £100 better than this. The reviews on amazon may be influenced of the RRP of £199 as well. But...I do not know, I don't own one, I just want one.

Does anyone have an idea of how long this will play for, it says 10hours but I have a boss speaker that only does half of what it states and I have to keep it charging most of the time.. which isn’t very portable

States 2 year warranty, I guess you can get it and return it if it does not deliver the promises. Play time is affected by the volume, the louder you play, the quicker will need charging.

I have the LG one (LG7?) and it's better in every way to the similarly priced google air freshener which I also have. Especially the microphone sensitivity and sound quality. I like it so much I'm probably going to get another...My point about Amazon was that with so many fake reviews on there it's quite impressive not to get 5 stars...

The LG one (ThinQ WK7 ) is by far my favourite smart speaker at under £100, I posted a few deals here. I've never seen this Harman Kardon, but considering the reputation of the brand, and also the cost, now this one seems to be my favourite. But I agree, the LG one is proper good.

Dangerous to confer "favourite" status without a listen. I Like HK stuff too, use their mini system (the see thru one) instead of a sound bar for my tele. Great sound and looks nice.

I know, and I should have learned my lesson, a big name does not always means the best, but...£80 and Harman Kardon, plus the look of it...I've got already 4 smart speakers, one still in the box, I really do not need another one, but I'm so tempted...
Have an echo show which bluetooths to a Bose mini soundlink for audio, so I doubt this will improve matters that much. But looks a great price for a punchy speaker!
Can you tether this to your mobile phone for use away from your home wifi?

Is it functionally a portable Amazon Echo?
I have Apple Music linked to my Amazon Echos - does anyone know whether this HK speaker would offer same functionality - it’s not totally clear from the info available online
Heat added

Checked some reviews, it seems you are 'forced' to set it up with Alexa app even if you do not want Alexa, so I'm assuming it has the same functions as an Echo. Apart from the fact this is a 3rd party speaker and most of 3rd party have some limitations with regards to the integration.
Looking good @sheffield788

surprised to hear this as i think echo show is actually pretty good
It's ridiculous to think Samsung can happily release speaker with Alexa before even bothering with the Galaxy Home!

It’s perfectly sufficient but if you’ve a Bluetooth speaker nearby anyway, it’s a painless task to ask Alexa to connect
Hope you don’t get messed about like I did. Bought the 2.1 soundbar after seeing the deal on here.
It arrived faulty, cut a long story short , took me over 30 days to receive a refund as I got tired of waiting for a replacement. Would NEVER buy from these again
Hmm reading the reviews it sounds like it's Alexa performance is pretty poor.
Sold out now.....

I think it's the fact that it's mono, not stereo. This makes it a no deal for me

Ok, I understand you want a stereo one. But I disagree the reviews may be because is not stereo. Are you aware of any smart speakers under £100 and stereo? But yes, it would have been great to be able to pair 2 of these. I'm sure HK has some versions that can be paired, but will probably cost more.

I'm so glad that is out of stock. I was thinking of buying it especially at that price. Bargain and heat added.

With regards to the 5 stars reviews on Amazon, clearly Harman Kardon is a serious company who does not pay or give freebies to the customers in exchange for 5 stars reviews. Which is not the case with the Chinese sellers, selling unknown brands. Saying this, I believe Anker, Xiaomi, Aukey or Ravpower, despite the fact they probably have lots of fake reviews, are quite good brands.

Thanks! I can expire it but I am thinking to leave it a bit longer, as the wired one is still available. I may change the title, hopefully people read the description. Don't know if I should post that as a separate deal.

Basically slightly more of an effort that you put on your deals. Mentioned in the title there are 2 models, one still available, the other one OOS now but was available when I posted the deal.

The deal is still in stock for the wired version, the correct link was provided, but probably changed by the mods, however the link was in the description too.
