The SoundSticks III system makes it easy for you to interact with your subwoofer and “sticks,” offering sensitive touch controls for raising, lowering or muting the system volume. By responding to the gentle touch of your fingertip, this intuitive design feature makes your SoundSticks III system easy to operate, and keeps this work of audio “art” in the best possible condition.

Great speakers!(excited)
I've had these a good few years now (2014 I think) & they still sound good to my ears. The design isn't for everyone but I don't mind it myself, rather funky. Just checking my Amazon purchases & it was an Amazon deal for £70 (well worth it) but I'd still pay the price that the OP found them for so no time machine needed
Great sound!
I bought the previous version of these 15 years ago. I thought the design was a bit dated then, and I don't think it's aged well at all. That said, the sound is excellent for the money.
These are good for the price - they are often available for around £99. Sound wise they are ok for less than £100. The looks are more interesting than the sound.
I remember years and years ago when these cost closer to £200. Great deal if you need them, and they do sound decent enough for the price point. You'd be hard pushed finding better 2.1 setups for much less.

I've still got my Yamaha 2.1 A-YST MS-50 speakers from 1999, that cost me £130 at the time (£218 in today's money apparently!). Still going strong and I've not heard better yet (for the price point).

These look old now. If I were to see someone using these I would have assumed that they bought it in the early 2000s.
Great speakers, look and sound great for the price
Will it have a UK plug? As it comes from Holland

Will it have a UK plug? As it comes from Holland

Should do, the ones I bought from Harman Kardon Website had both EU and UK plug in the box.
Got these from Harman Kardon for just £60 with £40 off code back in December 2015. This is therefore not the best deal from them that they've done.

Edit: let me add that they sound fantastic though, so if this is the cheapest you can find or you really want them then go for it.

No.
Listening to mine now. Great system. Bought them for the same price last time there was an ebay code on.
My ones are still sounding good, just that the sticks come apart really easily. Nothing a bit of clear tape can't fix though.
The sub-woofer on mine collects flies. The wiring feels messy whatever I do and the small speakers have needed re-gluing twice.

That said, great sound and a bargain at this price.
