Harman Kardon Soundsticks Wireless BRAND NEW only £129.99 with free delivery at Home AV Direct

I've seen the non wireless version on here for £109. Only £20 more for the wireless version. I've called Home AV and they've confirmed this is for a brand new set and will be delivered on a next day service for FREE. Pretty good if you ask me.

**The speakers are still wired to the sub and the sub still has a cable to the mains. The "wireless" capabilities means it has Bluetooth for easily connecting to it from a smartphone or other Bluetooth audio transmitting device.**

I've seen negative reviews for these complaining they're not wireless. For clarification, the speakers are wired to the sub and there is a cable from the sub for connecting to pc/phones/smart hubs etc. I've got a pair connected to my PC, and I also connect from the phone via bluetooth. Great speakers

Thanks for the reminder. I've added this to the description.
I have to agree, you have one less cable than the normal sound sticks III. Call them bluetooth speakers, Wireless? They should be done under trade description.
What's the big hoo haa with these are they amazing quality and sound?

They put out A LOT of sound. The sub is truly impressive. I'm not personally a fan of the looks but the sound quality was enough to sway me. I'm a regular customer at Home AV so was able to test them out before purchase (albeit I did pay more than the current price ). Really impressed with the quality. If you have a store that has these on display I'd definitely recommend trying them out for yourself.

Are they dust magnets especially the sub. How do you clean them.
Really starting to regret buying the aura studio from the o2 deal now

I guess a little bit but no more than anything else in my room. Usually just take a micro fibre to them whenever I clean my desk.
Can I connect Amazon Echo or Google Home to it?
I personally prefer having the original sound sticks and using a Chromecast audio, for a more stable connection and better audio quality. Definitely the best option if you have Spotify, because it means that you can cast with Spotify connect and not have your phone notifications interrupt the music playback that would happen if using Bluetooth
How do they compare with Libratone Zipp (not mini)?

They still have a 3.5mm audio input. So should have no problems with connection as they are a speaker.

As said before, no more so than any other speaker, I have had these for a number of years and when I first got them I wondered if there would be a prob with dust getting into the sub, but no worries on that front. Great sound quality, probably the best there is for a pc. Have to agree that calling them wireless may be a little misleading, they are Bluetooth only, still all the wires of the wired version.
I have had the soundstick 2 for a couple of years now, they are great... Have mine hooked up to the TV and they sound better than my £300.00 sound bar... Really impressive sound...
If you hide the sub the tweaker speakers look good either side of the TV..

I have these speakers and an echo dot and if I ask Alexa to connect to my speakers she will do so automatically (once paired via Bluetooth). Works a treat and they sound awesome. I can’t remember where I bought mine from but I paid £99 in the sale.
Sound quality on my wired pair are very very good, and I am pretty fussy.

Well, I've got the builders in demolishing walls etc. It's horrible - Thick layers of dust everywhere, but none inside the speakers. Definitely not a problem

P.s. I have just noted a dead moth in the sub though.

In a word, no

Physics defines what a speaker is capable of reproducing accurately, and crucially if you have a certain diameter of speaker than that is the maximum area of air it can push.
These rely on a subwoofer to do all of the mid range work, while the stereo one inch drivers basically squeak at you, this combines into a facsimile of reproduction at low volumes.

People like these because they fit into an Apple design aesthetic, but there is a reason why all normal hi-fi speakers are bigger than one inch.

This doesn't particularly matter of course because hipsters will connect these to their Macbook and sit barely a metre away listening to Bono, plus they've read a glossy paid-for review that states these are the best thing since 24bit sampling, so they can tell their work colleagues how good these things are.
They wouldn't actually buy normal speakers because they would look s**t, and the wires would show up on their glass desk.

I've got a Bose radio, it looks and sounds fantastic - right up until the moment I turn the proper hi-fi on...
Of course I wouldn't tell anyone this if I'd spent my own money on it, because then I'd look pretty stupid.

Should you buy it? Yes, they look great and nobody is going to tell you they don't sound amazing.

I was never going to buy them lol bloody hell the last thing I need is more speakers but just wondered if I was missing a trick cos I keep seeing them pop up your analogy was great by the way made me chuckle
This one, the wired version for 98.99 or aura for 149.99? any suggestion?

Any thing Blue tooth that receives the sound from the device by blue tooth **wirelessly**will need either a mains cable to function or recharging by cable, so how 'wireless' will any thing blue tooth be????????????????????
