Good price for it haha. But I don't think it's worth even £40
Guessing its clearance no longer listed on web site

Don't think you're opinion is worth anything

I've had harmony remotes for many years and mine had this delay for about a week to the point of it being unusable. I think I had to resync it or reboot the hub to sort it out. But it's been faultless apart from that one time.

You either had a faulty remote or set it up wrong. I've been using two harmony remotes for over 4 years and the delay is no more than the standard remote.

How do you set it up wrong?

Don't think yours is either big Ian 😁

You tell us, you did it

To be fair there can be slight delay if the remote is asleep and you manage to press a button without waking it, only takes the slightest movement though so you can't have managed that every time.
Might of been faulty. I'm only passing my opinion Ian. Not need to be rude lad
If it was such a good remote they wouldn't reduce it so much. I love my gadgets and tech and I know how to use them. It was delayed on all it was attached to which is why I sent it back. If yours isn't happy days. It's just a review of what I experienced. Go hunting round Curry's to get one.
These things are rock solid. Great deal if a bit of a goose chase.
Did anyone catch a goose outside York yet?
I’d quite like one at that price but not sure about driving to a Curry’s if it has not been seen anywhere else.
Just been to my local and they found it on the system but none in stock in any of the local stores. That was the Farnborough branch

I agree about the delay, but where it comes into its own is as part of a wider home control system. Being able to tell Google or Alexa to turn on your TV and having it turn the TV, your streaming device (Fire Stick/Roku or whatever), AVR or amp on, any bias lighting you've got in play all as part of one activity.
And perhaps more importantly, having it turn them all off.
You don't need the Elite for this, you need the hub - but it's nice to have the little touch screen control to do it.

As a stand alone remote for volume control - its rubbish, it's much more sluggish than any of the remotes that come with the connected device. But it still has a lot of utility.
When you use the hub, there is always going to be a slight delay - as in milliseconds. It's noticeable, but not really a game changer. The only time it would be noticeable is when pressing multiple buttons in quick succession.
Phoned my local they apparently have never stocked it.
Absolutely love this remote. I've had every generation, but this one nails it.
I've not had any delay problems. Pressing the remote for the SKY Q menu is near instant for example.
I have quite a complex AV and home automation system(s) and this plays it's part. Works fine with my Echo devices.
I always look to buy from Amazon during the Black Friday sales. Seems to drop down to around £115.
I couldn't actually manage without it now. (or at least i'd have to go back to shuffling remotes again)
The remote form and function have been great for me until recently when the touch had stopped working after a couple of years use. The kids do abuse it though. It doesn’t look like I have any repair options in the UK sadly.
Went to Poole store at the weekend. They didn’t have anything in stock but got them to check the system looking up 0000159660. They still had some stock at the warehouse available for ordering to store. I paid there and then. Got a call and just picked mine up today. Thanks OP!
