None 3D so not that impressive
Wait til the 3D set comes out
The 3D would be amazing. Must find a deal on a 3D TV now!
This set will be around £20 before Xmas. Happy to wait
3D on the last 2 harry potters were not good.
good price but I picked it up instore for only £36 last month which i though was a good price
eh up Jesus...I'll let you have this one if you wanna update your OP..... bit cheaper here with promo code SETENJ12 £33.29 still give you some heat ;-)
Cold. Picked up 1-6 for a tenner on Blu-Ray then got the last two for seperate (for free, incidentally - Sony Blu-Ray promotion).

But yeah, pick up the older box set and just get the last two separate. So much cheaper.

Nope, they're the exact same pressings as earlier box sets. The 1-6 has 7 discs (HP6 bonus disc) whilst the box set in this deal has 11 (the last two films plus their respective bonus discs). For some odd reason I can't find the older box set for a tenner anymore and the last two films are up at £10 on Blu-Ray - so it works at cheaper to get this anyway.
Showing as out of stock now
Got it for cheaper then this efore Christmas worth knowing if its the cheapest but not exactly a great deal.

There's seriously going to be a 3D version? How many of these films were actually filmed in 3D though, why would anyone pay more for fake3D? The studios are raking it in.

Will go down cheaper.
OOS
Was this price last year. When the final film wasn't even out yet. Why is this considered a deal?
Was available for weeks on end for cheaper than this before Christmas, so you'd think it'd have come down in price not gone back up!

As for 3D, only the last 2 films were converted and the effects are awful, they're pretty much two of the worst 3D blu rays on the market so there's little point in getting them or waiting for a boxset that includes them.

Whilst it was cheaper before xmas the reason for this being a good price is that Warner being the clever souls that they are announced shortly after the original release last year that the blu rays and DVDs would be pulled- presumably raising the way for a George Lucas/Disney type of yet more further special edition releases.

this particular set is over £60 at HMV and last time I checked even Tescos were charging £51.99 for it.

*Yawn*

3D is pointless in the home...
I have a 3dtv and yes the majority of '3d' movies are not 3d in my opinion, that is in the respect of they dont jump out of the screen at you. What they do do is give the film more depth of field but thats it. There are some movies which have some awesome moments, like despicable me for example, but mostly there is no popout, only extra depth.

Strangely though, I find the image quality much better when watching movies in 3d on my tv even though its passive and reducing the resolution....
