Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone: American director Chris Columbus (Home Alone) brings the magic of British author J.K. Rowling's beloved best-selling fantasy novel to life. Eleven-year-old orphan Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) finds his world turned upside down when he discovers that, like his deceased parents, he is a wizard and has been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With fellow first-year students Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) by his side, Harry's adventures begin in the rambling castle that is Hogwarts. Harry and his friends encounter as they embark on a quest to keep a treasured powerful object from falling into the wrong hands. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Director Chris Columbus recreates the magic of the second book from author J.K. Rowling's best-selling series about a young wizard, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe). In this sequel, Harry and his friends Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the new school year only to be met with a terrifying mystery. An unknown creature, one that supposedly lives in the legendary Chamber of Secrets hidden at Hogwarts, is attacking students in the school. Even the professors seem at a loss for how to solve the chilling mystery, leaving it up to Harry and his friends to save the day. Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban: offers a visually stunning interpretation of the revered book, and will thrill viewers with its special effects, its penetrating John Williams score, and its superb performances. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: Adults who may have been turned off by the more kid-friendly elements of the first two Potter films should sit up and cheer; this fourth installment of Harry's adventures at the magic school of Hogwarts is more mature and darker than its immediate predecessor. This year, Hogwarts is hosting the Tri Wizard festival, and there may be a plot afoot to off Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) during the proceedings. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Adolescent wizard-in-training Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for another year of schooling and learns more about the dark past of the boy who grew up to become Lord Voldemort in this, the sixth installment of the film series that originated from the writings of author J.K. Rowling. There was a time when Hogwarts was thought of as a safe haven, but thanks to Voldemort's tightening grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds, that isn't the case anymore. Suspecting that the castle may even harbour an outright threat, Harry finds his investigation into the matter sidelined by Dumbledore's attempts to prepare him for the monumental battle looming ever closer on the horizon. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1: The seventh and final adventure in the Harry Potter film series, is a motion picture event, told in two full-length parts. Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the horcruxes--the keys to Voldemort's immortality. On their own, without the guidance or protection of their professors, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are dark forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2: This is the final adventure in the Harry Potter film series. The much-anticipated motion picture event is the second of two full-length parts. In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort.

How is dead technology hot?

How is dead technology hot?

You might have a PSP and want to watch these films on it and 8 films for this price is decent enough if you can take advantage of it? Rhetorical question btw.
While I love and still use my PSP(and enjoy watching movies on it too) I bought the Blu-ray and DVD copies of this set. Simply rip the DVDs and convert it to the PSP format. Buying the DVDs is a more sensible buy for most. However it could be a gift for a child with a PSP and without a laptop of his/her own?
Amazed you can even buy all 8 films in this format!
UMD sucked, even back in 2005 when I bought the thing.
