You would have to be a real sad potter spotter to pay that type of money for that

i bought the collectors ed of the beedle bard book ( £70 ) still boxed .. lol

The whole point of HUKD deals is to find good prices on things. This is the cheapest I have seen for it a while so is deffo hot from me. I could go round voting cold on things that I don't particularly like but I don't because it is against the whole point of this site.

Anyway, thanks very much for posting this!

Wouldn't pay that myself, but for someone who hasn't yet got the films and wants them, at about £7 per film plus the extras and collecters style, then this is a good buy. Heat added!
You can get the whole set starting from £35 on Ebay...

Technically its 3.50 per film as you get 2 copies - bluray and DVD. lol.

The collector's edition, or the cheaper bluray only boxset which looks nowhere near as nice?

What a D**k Head ( sad Hot Deal Troll)

Given heat for this, you can't find it cheaper anywhere else number one because this is the collectors edition which is everywhere else at least £60 and number 2 it is still not even out yet so to be able to get it on ebay I mean c'mon guysss
It's a excellent price for that set. Just ignore the trolls like horacevankhute he is just bitter that his own deals are so dam cold you need a winter coat just to even look at them.

People like you actually stop this site working correctly. People who vote cold just because they don't want/need/like the item in the deal, without actually looking at the deal itself, are just morons.

This is hotukDEALS not hotukTHINGSIWANT.
You have to remember, Horace is the forum troll, since people started ignoring his LCD TV deal comments, he has to vent his vitriolic effluent elsewhere.

So what is the number produced? 10, 100, 1000, 1000000 ? If they don't mention it, chances are it is limited to about the number of people that would want to buy it.

What has that to do with the deal at hand, which is currently the cheapest you can get the item in question?
I wouldn't bother with this myself, I'd go for the regular edition at about £36, but for people who want the extravagant case and DVD copies and other nice looking extras, what does it matter? The only ones who worry about the numbers of these editions are the weirdos who want to keep it sealed and sell it for profit later.
Good find...hot from me
had accepted voucher, then binned me at checkout and tried to process at full price

when I clear everything and try and process again I get

"We're Sorry you cannot use this voucher"

think its for new customers as to checkout it makes you log in to your account

My son really wants this one for Xmas, I have pre-ordered just basic one from Tesco, so what to do eh? He wants all the extras but more money???????????????
Cheapest I've seen though, hot from me

eventually got code to process by creating a new account, with a different email address, suspect its for first time shoppers only

just like the 20% off music code terms
"Promotion is offered to first time shoppers only and who place their first order during the offer period. "
I cant imagine why anyone would pay 64.99, or even 58.49, for what you can get for 32.30 at Amazon? If you want it on DVD, why buy the blu-ray set? And vice-versa. All you get is a book and a pretty box really, and that is costing you an extra 32.69 at RRP. Damn, some ppl have too much money to spend imo
Anyone with a need for the DVDs as well (25.50) could even get both sets separately for cheaper than this. Collectors editions are really just a way to sell you stuff you didn't really want by sticking a printed serial no. on the box.
Why is it that I would want the collection on BOTH DVD and BLURAY? Well I guess I feel a little lowres today, so I'll watch it on DVD...
I think it's more for people that only have DVD at the moment, but if in the future they acquire a BluRay player they don't have to buy it again.
Original Poster

people with families also buy it whereby they give dvd to kids to watch and the parents use blu rays, i know few people who do that

Don't know how much it'll go down though, as Warner (?) are stopping both BR and DVD production of Harry Potter films from xmas.

Voted hot, although keeping my standard set on order for now.

Nicer packaging is a plus for some, as well as having the blu rays for the adults and the DVD's for the kids. Both seperately would be slightly cheaper if you wanted both, but I think the packaging and photo album are worth the extra quid.
I would go with the cheaper blu only set myself, but someone somewhere will have use for this.

Guys stop feeding the trolls.

People who want to express their opinions about limited edition marketing gimmicks and etc. should write in their own blog or facebook status. Either find a better price for the same item or don't trash the thread.

Why is it so hard to understand the purpose of this site??

Anyone with a BD burner and a copy of Nero could easily provide the 5yo with his disposable Potter fix at 10p per disc, but I do see what you are saying
The book is nice, I accept that, but it is part of the RRP I assure you. There will be 100 cheap Potter titles in the 'cheapie' bookshops in no time after the eighth film is done and dusted. The franchise will continue, just like the Diana franchise did and still is.
Just says not available for me so can't add it to basket.
