I think your comments are incorrect. I logged in and I don't have Prime, Prime Student or Kindle Unlimited and it's showing as a free purchase for me.

Kindle unlimited is a charge per month service. I got caught in thinking some books were free until I had £8.00 taken out of my account.

If you go through the kindle app it shows you the right price.

I've just got it for £0.00 as a normal purchase.

Nope. I do have regular Prime, but I just logged out and checked again and it's still showing as free.

If you want any kindle books that are not free, it would be a good time to use up your digital credits... If you have any! All digital credits earned by taking standard delivery on Prime since mid-December, run out on 20th April.
Amazon make it difficult to keep track of any credits you have, but you can check here.
Alternatively, you can call CS, and they will begrudgingly tell you how many you have, and when they expire.
