birdseye.co.uk/mer…n...
Just ate them for dinner !
Same price in tesco !
Very nice taste too
Hot for price ,,no Asda near me so thanks dounavilla...will check out Tesco for these tomorrow.
My error, these are £2 in tesco, in Asda they are £3.apologies
"Prefried cod portions formed from pieces of cod fillet,"
usual con, Harry will be turning in his grave, why has everbody changed to FORMED fish, is it because they can make them all the same size, bring back proper cod fillets, and stop putting formed in little tiny print on the back.
'Formed?'. I am shocked bybthst. That's essentially ba scam as you would assume that no one at Harry Ramsden's would agree to that...but clearly they are happy to have their name attached to this inferior product.

But consumer ignorance is bliss...
Omg, formed?? Taste nice though. Lol. Come on
Just go to the fishmonger and batter them yourself, no probs, no big deal, sorted

Never noticed that before,we usually buy Young's fish, will have to have a look at theirs now !
The title should be changed as it is misleading, these are NOT fillets.
voted cold I hate formed fish.
Same scam being used all over the place for chicken 'fillets; and 'wholetail' scampi. When you read the small print it's all chopped up bits and 'formed'. Sorry op. Not a bargain for me. Maybe you should change the post title a bit.
I think it should be birds eye who changes the title, not me
I'm just going by what is written on front of the box.
I agree. OP can only ho by actual product but shame of Birds Eye & Harry Ramsden's!
Ah first world problems. Imagine donating these to a shelter and them turning around and saying "Sorry mate, they don't want formed meat and fish.".

"This fillet is made from smaller pieces of fillet! Disgusting junk!" It minimises food waste as more of the fish is used which could mean less fish are needed and caught etc. It ensures uniformity and reduces costs. More importantly, there will be no nutritional difference between formed and whole as they're both made from fillet. Sorry but I don't see the problem.

They are 50p each, you will struggle to buy a cod fillet for that price plain never mind battered so how can you expect it with these?
