Usually these are around £8-12 on superdrug, boots, asda but this bundle also comes with the shaving cream and travel protector so nice deal for £3.95 delivery cost only.

Going to give these a bash due to this video, lets see how it compares to hotuk deals gillette hydro5 99p deals a few months back.

Do the Gillette blades fit the razor? I’m assuming not?

    No they don’t

Did an offer like this for these blades a few years ago, but hated the blades. They're really flat so not good for the contours of the chin. I found it really hard to shave with it and gave up after a couple of tries.

They also say these blades are no use for head shaving fyi.

These blades are shockingly bad people!! Over priced and poor quality. I had never had shaving rash in 25 years of shaving. Used this once, and boom… face like a beacon. Horrible experience. A friend of mine had exact the same happen to him. The products they do are nice (shower gel and shampoo etc) but the blades couldn’t cut butter. Keep well clear. You usually get what you pay for with razors, this is an expensive shaving rash. (edited)

I’ve also stopped using them recently for a similar reason

Bought Harry's starter from Tesco as I wanted to ditch Gillette.

What a horrible experience. Maybe some people are fine with it l, but i definitely do not recommend it.

Anyone can recommend some other brand maybe?

Tried Bulldog, better quality than these but still not even close do Gillette

Came across these the other day. Seems a good concept and long term investment.

Anyone know how these compare to Cornerstone?

I prefer Cornerstone. I get a better shave with the Cornerstone blades and I think they last longer.

I tried this out a few weeks back, very bad razors, lots of cuts and razor burn. Avoid

I find the shaving gels/foam brilliant, one of the best I’ve used. Blades are average though don’t give the smoothest finish

I agree, it's excellent shaving gel, smells really fresh. And the post-shave balm is great too. I haven't tried the blades.

I’ve been shaving with Harry’s for a year or two now - no problems, nice close shave and very convenient getting the blades delivered.

I used Gillette for 20+ years before that and never feel like returning. These are much nicer for me.

Very good find OP, I enjoy using these shavers, they take a while to lose there sharpness, and give a close shave.

I had these they were okay but not the best. Going back to Gilette. You get what you pay for

    Look up the gilette model.

And then switch to double edge razors. Orders of magnitude cheaper.

I've got these and never had any problems and find they're just as good as Gillette but cheaper

I gave the Harry a go today, its got a good weight balance and grip to the handle just better then my £1 Wilkinson hydro 5 99p deal.

Going off the book and head shaving here, its pretty rough against the old head I think the review did mention he finds it much better after 2-3 head shaves so I kept going. Its good, I can grip it slightly better at the end to glide it over my head although I did get a few cuts sadly but it does happen even on the Wilkinson hydro blade sometimes. One nice thing, it appears to catch the hairs and put them together so when you rinse off the blade its in clumps with the Wilkinson hydro5 my tiny hairs are all over the place and its harder to clean up.

Its tempting to go back to my Hydro 5, cheaper blades refills and smoother feel but I will give it a few more head shaves and see if the blade gets smoother.

Ok small update to my review posted above regarding the harry blade and my head shaving experience a 2nd time. Much improved and better, no more cuts the blade glides a bit more smoother on my head overall it felt nicer I think the video I posted on my deal that guy is right the blade just needs a bit of time to "wear" in.

I think people using the Gillettes and others shaving 1st time and having that worn in smooth feel 1st time with a new blade or any time for that matter is putting them off the harry blade. The only thing I don't know is how long this blade may last compared to the Gillettes.

Totally didn't see anything ref a subscription on buying what I just thought was named 'trial set' only. Bit poor that it's not made clear enough. Cancelled as per other post here and in PayPal too.

Hi updated post to add subscription wording, I did mention you can cancel 2 days before despatch so the orders on them, but sure it may not be 100% clear so have added Subscription to title and post.

They have also updated the deal so that question mark icon is now gone so is the if you don't like harry its on us phrase which use to state its a sub and trial, so bit sneaky of them but during the set up they replaced it with:

First subscription dispatches 3 June (not charged today). Cancel anytime

Hopefully you didn't get charged, its a bit weird they say 2 days before dispatch but I assume its sub plan with the blades I did not chance it so just mentioned in my original deal just cancel it 2 days before it despatches.
