What’s the deal with VA displays? Are these the gaming orientated ones?
Not a fan of VAs although they do have the best black levels.
Good price.
Nice spec. Wish it was 27" though.

Get a QHD 32" on your desk and you might just change your mind!
Ive got a 3440x2060 34” an immersive piece of gaming kit. The jump from 27” is amazing
Delivery in a few months. Guess it hasn't arrived!
Really wanted to like the curved displays but found I preferred the old flat displays.
Either way it is good to see the price of these 1440p 144Hz screens coming down.

What model is it, if you don’t mind me asking?

I sit close so pixel density matters or I'd be on this like a rash
oooh might trade out my 27" for this! Seems a good price.

So true, I would not go above ~27" for a 2560 x 1440 display, but it does depend on your eyesight and how close you sit. This being a curved display one would assume it must be best to sit close, so If you have decent eyesight you will see pixels. That being said the price looks good for what it is, and seeing a bit of pixels is not the end of the world.
headline should state a few more details esp resolution ... more important than color ..
I've been waiting for this to arrive :))))) HOTTTTT

Anything in particular about curved screens as a monitor?

I don't really understand curved screens in general, but as a monitor I thought it made sense

Just curious to know why you didn't like it

I do a lot of adobe stuff, business related work on my computer so was planning to upgrade from my 27 inch

Thanks
Seems like a cheaper non-HDR version of the AGON version that I'm running (AG322QC4). Exceedingly good monitors.
Wonder if this will be gsync compatible with latest nvidia drivers

It will be. We just don't know how well it works
Anyone know if the price will drop or increase after even if its sold elsewhere?

Agreed, I have the qc4, superb monitor, and works well with a 1070/g-sync. I was a little worried about pixel density, but really not an issue in the end.

So it will go more expensive after?

Sorry I couldn't guarantee that but have seen it happen 3 or 4 times with monitors that I've been interested in where the amazon pre-order price was great then goes up closer to RRP (£359 for this monitor) after release date.

Overclockers currently has this monitor on pre-order for £359.99 but some retailers could drop it to £300 if it was still profitable or to shift stock if the reviews were terrible when they came in.

£319.99 is about 11% discount on £359 RRP so this is a good deal based on what is currently known.
Correction

Thanks trendingit you're right. According to display displays-specifications it is indeed:

* 1 x HDMI 1.4
* 1 x HDMI 2.0
* 1 x DisplayPort 1.2

Keep trying to update the original post, yet keep getting "Something went wrong. Please try again, if this error persists try reloading the page" error. I will try to update the post again tomorrow.
Think I will order this, heat added.
I've popped this on preorder thanks for the post

I struggled with "curved" straight lines and found that it provoked my CDO.

Sheesh, never thought about that.

Its making my CDO itch just thinking about it

I be dammed if my shirts in my wardrobe do not match from lights to darks, wooden hangers too, plus have to check 3 times the front doors locked

The life of a CDO officer

Of course your wardrobe has to be in the correct order, we're not savages

Indeed, the only thing savage is my selective hearing

I been dreaming of a day I get to build my own CDO Dojo

People will flock there by the dozen, of course in order of age, first name and surname and height.

Guys I found out you can get gsync to work with this monitor! I'm selling my vega and buying a 1080ti ASAP

I've been comparing this to the QC4. For £100 saving it seems you lose HDR400 (not real HDR), Freesync 2 (this just says Freesync, so presumably the original version) and the stand only has tilt adjustment, no height or swivel. If you're planning to buy a monitor arm and won't be using the stand it's probably a good choice.
