Hatchimals surprise now available to buy - £74.99 @ The Entertainer/Argos/Smyths

Found 6th Oct
Available from The Entertainer (link) but also available from argos and smyths for store collection. Apparently these are supposed to be as big of a craze as last year so although this isn't a deal as such I thought it might help some parents get a hold of these

Not even for a tenner

£68.07 from Amazon. If these are like the glittering garden variety then they'll go down like a lead balloon.

I don't see the appeal either but as I know a lot of parents personally who are after one of these I thought I'd share when I got an email from the entertainer saying they are now available. Oh well...... I guess some things just go down like a lead balloon. 🤣

Heat for posting.

Same here. Talking about hatchimal since last year. Somehow I feel that the price is not worth.

As a parent I don't see any appeal but kids still love it. My little one is taking about it from last year. I really feel guilty. By the way I am not going to buy it unless it goes down to £20.

Said to the wife the other day that these will probably end up in b&m for £30 eventually.
Practically everyone I know that bought one last year hatched it, played with it for 5 minutes and then put it on a shelf/in a toybox.

For all of you not wanting to get one, home bargains do a fake version for £15. Not 100% sure how they compare but from what I can tell it's a creature that hatches from an egg 🙈

I bought one is costco last weekend for £44 inc VAT

I bought one from ebay that had already hatched and then never been played with again. It arrived yday and it is in its original box, with instructions and is completely untouched. Obviously, it has been hatched, but Santa will leave a bite saying this little chap needed a home and I spent £5.90. Ebay also have them for £30 delivered from China.

Not the same I know as they are just the cuddley toy version but I thought these were cute in B&M:

I know these aren't the big hatching ones but I bought my little girl one and she loves it. Got a couple more for in her stocking

I know, there was no way I was spending £60 to hatch a toy.

That would have been the older ones, these new ones hatch interacting twins and were only released yesterday.
