    I'm looking for a good deal on 100% Japanese whisky but it's hard to find. This is a mix of Japanese and probably Scotch whisky.
    "From the Kaikyo Distilley comes Hatozaki Pure Malt, made with 100% malt whiskies, including stocks distilled in Japan as well as imported malt whiskies."

    During the 80s and through to the 2000s there was a downturn in whiskey consumption and a recession in Japan and less whisky was made.So there is not enough aged Japanese whiskies so most of it is young or a blend with imported whisky. There should be more now appearing in the next few years as companies started investing into more production a few years back.

    But it also means you need to spend over £50 to get a good quality 100% Japanese whisky presently.

    Rates 4.6 overall reviews, but people also gave it 3.7 on flavour and 3.5 on price. I think there’s better whiskies out there for this price….

    £28.73 for me on S&S @ 15% discount. Can't stop thinking it looks a massive urine sample in a large bottle though given the colour

    Very cheap and a great find. However the reviews for this on Master of a malt do put me off…. Also seeking good value (.not Collectable) Japanese drinker that tastes good

    Damn, I bought a bottle of this a couple of weeks ago for £43, thinking whisky like this never gets reduced. This is an awesome price for this!

    Bought this for my dad a couple of Christmases ago, he really likes his malts and he really enjoyed this. Perfect for a whisky lover as they will likely not have tried this. Heat.
