I bought this ready for our newborn due in July when it was £109, and i am suprised at what it is like for the price. It is the 2009 model as ours still had the sticker on saying made July 2009. It is a good system with planty of extras included in the price.
You get the buggy, car seat (NO BASE), footmuff, travel bag, raincover and also a couple of Kiddiecare sunshades for the car.
Personally for £99 i think its even more of a good deal now???.
WIth our first born we bought a Graco for about £250, and this isnt far off it. No point spending megabucks when you can get something just as good for about half the price!!!.

HOT price. We have one as a spare for our daughter who is two weeks old (ours is pink of course!). Heat & rep added.

Can't speak for this system but I bought a 3 wheeler hauck roadster travel system for our first born for £90 from tesco with car seat.
I would recommend a travel system in general as transfering sleeping baby to the car from cot is a necessity and made much easier.
However the durability of the hauck buggy let the whole package down. It was good at first but then with wear and tear the buggy became akward to push and veered to the left. We perservered with it but as baby grew heavier the buggy almost put my oh back out. We got it replaced by tesco after a few months (6?) but then it deteriorated in the same way so we moved to a mcclaren non travel system.

Hopefully this is better, however I will be steering clear of hauck buggies in future. If you buy a system make sure the shop has a good returns policy imo.
I thought the same about not buying expensive buggies, that was until we had to use one day after day, at that point you realise the benefit of a well designed and made buggy.
We also bought a mamas and papas push chair which was terrible before we decided to try the mclaren ( which we did buy in the first instance because we didn't see the point in spending £80 when a £50 buggy would do)
Moral of this post is to do your research before you buy the best you can afford.

Hauck Speedsun travel system........great name......designed by men for men......

Jeremy Clarkson voice..... and it goes like a rocket.........

I have recently got a Hauck buggy very similar to this and am finding it very difficult to steer. If I had my choice again I wouldn't buy.

Seems like a good price, we are currently scouring the world for Prams ! Heat left :-) Good luck with baby.

I take it back put some oil on the wheels and now its great. Got mine off ebay new £49.99 delivered no car seat or bag but came with mosquito net and sun umbrella

Must be a hot summer coming with a Mosquito net!!! lol ;-)
Must admit though i remember using a drop of WD40 on our Graco system we had 6yrs ago when our first born arrived.
Personally i think it is about as good as a graco system, but to be honest i am not bothered if its last years model (by about 8months) if i am getting it at the price i did !!!
