Heat added - these are £20 more elsewhere.

Anyone tried one of these in a Revo/EEE Box HTPC set-up? Quite fancy giving that a go.

Are they any good?

The very reason I bought it! If I remember i'll post back here when I've got it up and running on my new Eeebox.

Was looking on dabs... :-s

I'd buy it in a second if it an internal PCi or PCIE model, usb sticks are only useful for the laptop folk and the performance is slower usually.. unless its usb3. Eager to find one to replace my normal Compro dual freeview tuner. The only one I could find for internal is scan.co.uk/pro…ing but not familiour with brand.

I am buying for a desktop primarily, but always handy to have one you can use in a laptop if desired.

i dont think this could run any faster than working speed so USB3 is not going to help.
when corry is on at 7.30 it finishes at 8, no USB3 required.

105 quid is quite painful compared to the 15 quid I paid for my twin tuner sd freeview one I wonder how long until they come down to something more sensible?

you cant compare HD to SD, SD looks terrible on a big screen

That's not the point, these things are way overpriced since it is the computer that is decoding the bit stream. There's hardly going to be anymore hardware in these new freeview hd tuners.

Big scam.
