Does this have a built in HDD? I don't see how this would work without one, other than have a lead all the way to your PC.

I think its designed to capture HD footage to your PC. Very cool for capturing Xbox/PS3/PC Game footage.

It shouldn't be sold as a PVR then. As it doesn't record, it captures and converts to HD. I wouldn't be happy if I'd bought it as a PVR. So, you really would need the PC to be near the HD source then.

How?

Not sure if anyone is planning to use one of these with a Mac, but I believe to use it you need to buy an app called EyeTV 3.
