download the quidco app for your iphone and when walking around town use the map to see near by locations then check in at argos or cpw or carpetright or tmobile for 25 pence a go, a casual walk around the shops should earn you £1 per day..

you need to be within range of each store for your moneys.
the app will show you have checked in and then an email will show the claim

It worked on my android too
But I use the iPhone mostly

cheers!

HOW DO YOU CHECK IN?

this app may use chargeable phonecalls which will appear on your phone bill... no thanks.

That seems very strange as the app wil use data ( either wifi or your phone chargeable data) as it's live but I certainly have never had calls being charged from using it.

I don't undrestand what is this?

JayJay, this app has never charged me for a phonecall, you will need to be on free wifi or use part of your 3g data allowance. but thats to be expected.
most iphone users have data bundles so it shouldn't matter

HOW DO YOU CHECK IN?

download the app, then on the offers page click on the company, if you are stood near by click the green button 'check in', please note you will need a quidco account setup, the majority on this website already have quidco setup so, the claim is added to your quidco activity within minutes

Do you physically have to click the "checkin button" or will it logg automatically?

if you have an iphone or android you can get apps for discounts in local shops, bars and restaurants, I use myvouchercode, o2prioritymoments, quidco and vouchercloud

this week i have eaten a pizza for £2 at pizza express, bought some £50 trainers for £30, earned 25p at debenhams, got a £15 gift voucher for a £40 spend at house of fraser, got 20% discount on perfume..

you have to click on it, so no using your mobile when you drive past carpetright,

this didnt work for me last time i used it. probably because the GPS fix wasnt accurate enough in the store.

never bothered with it since.

Also on android

Can this be done once per day, or is it a once-only thing?

i.e. Will walking to work earn me £1 per day? That's quite handy, if so. Easy £30 a month!

theres always one bell.end.

to be honest my iphone is free. its a work phone.
get one and you may just change your opinion, got to find an address in the street use an iphone, check the weather, check your ebay account, check the footy scores, check your hotmail, use the calculator, want bogof on a pizza, a free pint, check the price of a dvd cd in your HMV store and see what amazon and plays price online is (saving ££s), get discounted club entry, read the metro/ sky news, not sure what that track is record it and get the artist and track name instantly, if you so wish donwload the track to your phone.. cheat at your pub quiz on wikipedia, , the list goes on..

is it any wonder smart phones have taken over our lives, join the revolution or d1e

the amount of money savings iphones and such like now offer, they pay for themselves.

£1 a day, no way! These check-ins are not there every day. Possibly every couple of weeks. Several are one off.

well they've been on all weekend, so thats 80p to 100p for the last 3 days, as all deals, they don't last forever. snap them up quickly,
They'd be unhappy people on this site if page 3 girls stood outside these shoppings handing you the cash.

awesome

Can you checkin to the same place more than once ? If so, there's like 10 Carphone Warhouse's in my town

Will have to try this out when I go out on a bike ride, cheers

Original Poster

i believe so, I have quite a few near by and the option to check in is still on the other ones I'm too far away from. the T&Cs seem to be missing, but its worth a try

does topcashback has something simliar?

Hot.

Although I'm sure I have read some where you can only 'check in' at each place once every 2 weeks or so. Any one else know about this?

I was hundreds of yards from Argos when I was laying in my hotel bed at the weekend, iPhone said 120 yards, checked in and earned 10 pence. If I know I am going shopping I always check to see what is avaliable to check in. Most I have earned is 85 pence in a day.

good deal, but a bit gimmicky

Pointless, you have to spend time and effort to walk around for an hour or how ever long it will take just to make a quid! You're better off working an extra hour at work and getting paid more. Also, you have to factor in transportation costs as well as parking fees.

Not pointless. Its good if you happen to be out shopping anyway or walking past on the way somewhere else. I dont think anyone is suggesting its a career alternative or that you should go out of your way to get these. Just that its a nice, free bonus whenever you happen to be near.

not for some people, as said before people are never happy.
if you work in a city centre and catch a bus or train already how many mobile phone shops, argos, debenhams shops do you walk past. i can do 3 with no effort at all.
If you are all ready shopping do iphone users not check deals anyway.
frangrance at 20% discount, debenham discounts, house of fraser gift cards, maybe when the missus is trying a top on, pull out your phone and see whats on offer. lol

I did not post this offer to get people to buy iphones, or spend money to go to a shop to pick up a 20p
check in..
ps. not everyone can work overtime. so your work an extra hour is a pointless suggestion

Remember Quidco take the first fiver you make every year, so if you only check in for a few days then forget then you're not going to get any money at all
