Went here on a "SUN" deal a few weeks ago and it is a nice site, we prefer a "Quieter" holiday and enjoyed this place BUT if you want entertainment etc it is all there. We found the staff particularly helpful and friendly.

But we're back at school,no good for us!!!

Most schools I know of in the West Midlands are back on Monday 6th Spetember and also with it being Bank Holiday Monday, I only need to book 4 days off work!

Ragarding the food, I did try to make it clear that this is over 100 quid cheaper than self-catering so for a family of 4 (who are off school that week) I'm hoping they could take advantage of this deal.

I certainly wouldn't eat the food there, nor would I stay in one of their chalet rooms. Again, I'd also be careful which parts of the site I'd take a caravan too. Saying all that, I love this site! Have been a couple of times. There's a really nice sandy beach only a stones throw away and if you're willing to walk a little (15-20 mins), there's a very quite and very big shingle beach just round the peninsula. You'll see maybe one or two other people all afternoon!

its a good job i read this thread as we are going there on 1st oct and i have been phoning them to get a price for us to add the meals on its £300 odd pounds for the week wont bother now if the food is that bad

:p:p

I've been half board at Craig Tara and I thought the food there was lovely. Fantastic choice and always fresh. Wouldn't have thought there would be that much difference in the two. Craig Tara does always seem more expensive though. Maybe that's why.

The price jumped to £435 when I last checked but didn't get chance to expire. Will now though as there is no half-board accomaodation available at all for these dates.
