This is basically a subscription service.
For the price of a 1 year subscription, you could have the physical book, then you would not have to keep dashing into the house to look at the computer, or squint at the phone.
24 hours = £1.99
14 days = £4.99
90 days = £6.99
1 year = £14.99
What a rip off.

Good old Haynes liar
What a rip off.
Everyones getting in on the subscription service way of selling. So for my car manual I would never own it and I am just renting it for 24 hrs (£1.99) up to 1 year (£14.99).
Take a screen shot of every page???
Thanks for this. Bought 24 hours access for my MX5, don't need any longer because will be pile of rust once expired.
Can usually borrow from your local library. That's what I did when the horn on my car stopped working. Excellent step by step instructions. Had to take the centre console apart to disconnect the airbag ECU.
Haynes is absolutely hopeless these days. Stuff is wrong, or missed out or the pictures are completely unusable etc. 100% not worth using. Most service/workshop manuals are available for cars in pdf forma if you hunt about. Or just look it up on youtube.

Nothings changed. I remember using a Haynes manual for my mk2 escort back in the 80's. The number of times I was left scratching my head when a vital step or picture was missing....
Thanks for this. I think it's a good deal.

Knowing my way round cars, 9 times out if 10 I only need the manual for one task and that is almost always electrical/wiring related so having access to a wiring diagram for 24hrs is usually all I need.
Good if your a mechanic and only work on cars for short periods of time
£1.59 on trade club, not difficult to get a card
Haynes book of lies printed on special toilet paper designed to absorb any oily thumbprint and enough varieties of models in one book that wont be yours but will leave you more confused and throw away one liners such as "now remove dashboard" as if it were as simple as changing a bulb,Renault Megan excluded....
Not only is this a poor deal compared to the printed version, Haynes now cover so few vehicles that they are becoming irrelevant.
If anyone needs a peugeot/citroen manual i recommend using the service box official page, £7 per hour but you can save manuals to pdf if you need to do something for first time and want a proper manual
Do they still say " use to tube drift to remove....."

To this day after 25 years of doing my own repairs I still don't understand what a tube drift tool is/looks like
I think that translates as" hit it with a long bit of pipe or an old socket". I never did get around to making my own peg spanner.....

would have thought these would be for reference only at local library, surprised they would let anyone take one away knowing they would normally get grease on the pages
