Set in the year 2048 in a world where Governments have outsourced military operations to Private Military Corporations (PMC), you play a newly enlisted soldier seeking fulfillment and thrills by fighting for a good cause.

I'll be honest, this game is absolute gash and I only had to play the demo to find that out. It was one of the biggest disappointments of last year, particularly as it was masterminded by David (Dr.) Doak and most of the same team behind Timesplitters and Goldeneye. It usually goes for around £8 pre-owned though and should make a nice stocking filler for anyone receiving a PS3 this year or if you're looking for a cheap FPS on a budget, just don't expect anything too special.

Well some people are just after a cheap game to add to their collection and you could do much worse than this one I suppose.

Look at how many people bought Vampire Rain for £2.99 recently and that's far worse than this.

is it that bad? demo seemed to be ok, not that much diferent from Halo or the rest of these types of games

It is. Very buggy and unpolished, not to mention the worst script ever.

I was just really let down by it to be honest, the PS3 launch was a bit rubbish and this was a game that I expected a lot from, I even budgeted to buy it at the full RRP on the month when it when it was released, then I played the demo and subsequently never bothered.

I was going to buy it myself today at this price but I already have a few PS3 games to play, including MW2 which is eating up most of my game time, and I'll be getting a few new games at Festivus, so I thought I'd just post it in case anybody else wanted it.

It says it is a 15 in UK. Yet the new Call of Duty modern warfare 2 is an 18 but has less swearing than it. In campaign on HAZE it has so much swearing my little bro who i got it for his 15th b-day was astonished
