Good price but definitely a marmite game. Check the ]reviews.

I really liked the idea behind this, the story and all, but tried the demo and read the reviews and decided against it..... Also check the Zero Punctuation review, they're the best - escapistmagazine.com/vid…aze

Top find....ummed and arred over this one for ages, but at this price i've reserved one to collect ;-)

He's on a roll! For £10 you cant go wrong. Thanks, have some heat.

SuperEd

got this game i find it a great game voted hot!

amazing how such a supposedly anticipated game ended up being so rubbish lol

You cant argue with a tenner. Heat added.

Great deal but a terrible game. I'm a pretty avid fan of FPS but I didn't come close to finishing this game, a first for me.

don't like the game, use the tenner towards cod4/5

Saw this deal a few hours ago, but its a game thats frustrating because it was hyped up but ultimately is a huge disapointment, but some people may get the best out of it, I guess, and £10 isn't much of a gamble these days...

will they pricematch comet in currys ??
reserved thanks:thumbsup:

currys price is £39.98
minus £9.99 minus 10% the difference innit ??

Yeah i was not massively impressed with this game.Felt abit dated and its quite funny really as it was really hyped up.hmmm tenner is a good price for i agree with the above about save your cash and spend on cod5

Not worth 99p let alone a tenner! Add £17 and get COD5 from Asda tomorrow!

I just voted hot and the temp dropped form 78 to 69 so every 1 hot vote this gets like 3 or 4 cold

You should get it for about £7 as currys give you 10% off the difference between their price and the cheaper retailer

we’ll match it and give you an extra 10% of the difference.

cheap as it is, it is a waste of time. You're better off putting your hard earned cash towards a better quality of game.

Makes it even a better price

Wonder if the price match in store as the price matcgh sounds more like online but will check tomorrow as Currys is right next to Comet so will try and get it for £7 in Currys and if that fails will collect from Comet for £10

I tried to like "Haze" [available as a Downloadable Playable Demo from the Playstation Store) but nothing stood out that I hadn't seen before. I tried the multi-player online aspect of the demo & it just didn't grab me, like, say, "Resistance: Fall of Man" ("Resistance 2", and/or "Killzone 2", or to that point, like “Wolfenstein 3D”/”Spear of Destiny”, “DOOM”, or “Quake” did many years ago).

On the otherhand, "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare", gives me motion sickness with all the individual players on one team all running about so maybe I'm not the best person to advise on online multi-player gaming. Or perhaps I'm just getting old?

However, I should not need to try to like something. I thought the on-screen sight of the gun was more ridicule than reticule. For a shooter not to shoot where you are aiming is a major flaw as far as I am concerned, but what really bugged me was the constant nagging to take my medicine as if I was some elderly patient with the memory of a kitchen sieve (or one with motion sickness, as appropriate)

I managed to play the demo without needing to be nectar’ed-up (other than the mandatory dose when you start), thank you all the same. I am somewhat familiar with how to play First Person Shooters [I have more of this genre than any other in my many, many years of collecting games]; I did not need the enemy to glow like they had all eaten far too many bowls of Ready Brek. I like to be taken by surprise occasionally. It keeps me on my virtual toes… and keeps my interest in the game. The “I’m over here, shoot me before I see you” approach just spoiled it, as there was no challenge & certainly no fun to be had

One good thing to come out of this title, however, should be that "TimeSplitters 4" (also developed by Haze’s development team, Free Radical Design) is going to have to be so much better.

Then again, for a tenner... I can always trade it with somebody else at HotUKDeals after Christmas

BFN,

PS. JackTheLad... you're on ]a roll this week!

Or maybe more of a barm cake or bap. Crusty cob, even.

Either way, heat added.

Its A Good Price But For A Terrible, terrible game.
Played the demo and its the only good thing for it.
Online feature is naff and the story is bad.
Feels like a rushed game and it shows.
Wouldn't buy it again - even if it was a fiver

Yep, Just gone up to Third Highest :-D

Asda should send me a free copy of the game for getting them so many customers :giggle:

just a note about currys price match policy.they would not price match this game for me today stating that they didnt have to if they didnt want to.

so i contacted currys customer support chewed their ears for ten mins and they are looking into it for me.last time this happened they sent me a £20 currys voucher  but its getting tougher these days to get these price matches.

got this price matched at currys (romford) today for £6.99. They had another copy on the shelf at 5:00pm today.

yeah i managed to get the price match also, in the end i tried a different branch.paid £6.98
