I have had these taps for 5 years now and they are as good as the day I had them. They are a very good buy easy to use and good for the elderly:thumbsup:

With ceramic washers that is a good price

GRAND TOTAL £12.99 unless you spend £50, OP price is missleading

Is it possible to convert to normal tops whilst keeping the ceramic cartridge?

Hard or soft water? Conventional taps don't last long with my very hard water.

A leaky tap is usually cause by someone not turning the tap off tightly enough, over a long period, groves appear on the brass and it cause leaks.
That's why a lever is better than a tradition turning tap. I have 5 pairs fitted to my shop over the 5 years ago I have only had to replace 1 tap because of leak and 1 other because the top screw had corroded thru. Had I used the traditional type, I would have to change at least 1 tap per year.

Thanks for that. Yes, a groove develops on the seat. But surely ceramic taps wouldn't have that problem?

Yeah the groves are produced, that why you need a re-seater tool to grind down that grove to accept a new washer.

Understand that but the grooves quickly get so deep I doubt that would do the trick.
