Your decision if you don't want a fancy little pointless box and drivers you are not going to use.

It is up to you, both options available, still both cheap at that price.

Novatech ]LINK

Overclockers ]LINK

You need to check the prices on your post, you've mixed them up and one way it's a good deal...the other it's not. But it's confusing. You may want to add the link to Novatech too.

1. It was £3 cheaper than current price...

2. Free delivery on both sites for forums members..

3. Why go buy of Novatech I am sure if you ask on there forums Novatech will sell you it at same price it was a few day a go if you are so worried about a £3 saving..

4. For people who missed the deal, this is still a cheap price.. If you can't find cheaper please don't spam thread with a pointless post.. :x

--EDIT--

Understood, general confusion.

1. Yeah, but it was still cheaper...so I wouldn't say it's as hot as the price previously submitted. Essentially it's a repost of an expired deal at a higher price...

2. I wouldn't include free delivery with overclockers as you need to be a member for so long and post so much every couple of months last time I checked, so very few people could use that.

4. Yeah..still an okay price.

Soo all in all...warm...not hot imo - and I wouldn't go for the generic card from OC considering it's the same cost shipped for the other from Nova.

Ok.. thanks for your spammy opinion please stop posting on this thread.. you know as much as I do it is a good price regardless of the extra £3, just lets leave it at that.. Please do not spam this thread any more. If you have anything else to say send me a PM plz.

lol, so I can't voice my own opinion on a public forum? You asked for people who were voting cold to post up why - and I did, I believe that would be considered a response to your invite for reasons for cold votes, and not spam. If you hadn't screwed up the pricing to begin with in your OP then I'd have probably just voted warm and left it be.

I'd go the Novatech route too, but only cos OCUK are a pain to deal with at times!

Quote me.. I never said to post why you vote cold.. Lolz.

I didn't want to reply again to this thread, but seeing as you insist.....you had posted something along the lines of 'zomg -7! Why's everyone voting cold? Blah blah..' but post 2 has now been edited so I obviously can't quote you.

I wasn't slamming you or trying to 'spam' your thread at any time. I was merely pointing out a few facts and putting in my say on the deal. Peace out and good luck finding new deals...try not to be so defensive, and oh yes, welcome.

is this a similar spec to an 8800gt?

is this a similar spec to an 8800gt?

No, it's quite a bit better.

A ]£69 HD 4830 is closer to a 8800GT. Then there's the 4770/4850, then this card.

I would wait for the prices to drop further & go for the next card up for a truly worthwhile upgrade

ive been offered one for 50 quid but didnt know whether it was much of an improvement tbh
