Hi all. I have received an email that first six months are 2.50 and after that going up to 5 pounds per month. Sounds like a good deal for me

Not only will you be able to watch all the footy from the Premier League, but you'll also get all the Ashes action live from Australia. Plus, UEFA Champions League, Aviva Premiership Rugby, and UFC. Phew. All of that for just £2.50 a month for 6 months (£5 a month thereafter) – that's less than the price of a half-time bacon butty.

I think its only Standard Definition, you will have to pay a lot more for HD.

looking to move from virgin but I can only see this at £5 per month. Is this for individual customers only?

Hmmm....there is no info is it HD or SD. I will look at it later cause of work atm.

This is for use of the app/on line only according to my account. Think you can chromecast to a tv though

the sky tv pack with HD is £12.50 per month

Yeah you can cast it to TV. Even two devices can be used at the same time which is good.

Can confirm you can Chromecast to a TV provided that you have Plusnet broadband (if not, you can only use the app to view on a mobile or tablet).

The feed is also HD and displays perfectly on a large flat screen.

HTH

PS Although there is a BT Sport app for Windows, it doesn't currently work with Chromecast - so you'll need to use the GooglePlay or IOS version.

One other point. You can also use the BT Sport app to watch sport on a laptop (provided it's running Windows 10) with this offer.

If you don't want to get a Chromecast, just run an HDMI cable from the laptop to your TV and job done!

Surprisingly, you don't need to have fibre either. So long as you have a broadband connection > 4MB ish, it works flawlessly.

I've just signed up for Plusnet and don't go live till the end of the month. I've not received the email. Is there a link to info on this deal? I've clicked the link above but that asks me to log in after which I'm just taken to the Plusnet home page.

Try live chat with them. I have received an email and I believe it will be for all customers. Maybe they will give u the option as soon when you will have their broadband but I would speak to them

Slight aside but I have bt sport on my iPad (use my folks login who have the tv package with bt) is there a cheap simple way to watch the iOS version on a tv? Obviously iPads don’t have a hdmi port! Tia

Look out for a cheap Black Friday deal for a Google Chromecast. They give a brilliant picture from BT Sport on a TV.

£3 extra for HD.

The app only does HD?

In case anyone is interested, Tesco will be selling the Google chromecast for £19 and the Amazon fire stick for £24.95 from 22/11 - 27/11.

I've been offered this for £1 for 6 months via email. It doesn't say how long the minimum contract is though.

HD casting from the app. Apparently app maxes out at 720p, but picture is great to me on 55" 4k set.

The standard price is £5/m and you can see that on landing page if googling 'plusnet bt sport.' Once your Plusnet is live, just enter login and password on that page and it will offer you the £2.50/m deal. The £1/m deal seems to be by invite only.

Wait until after your install. If an agent makes changes to your package so it no longer matches what you ordered through a cashback site, you may not receive the cashback.

related only in the sense that it's BT Sport, but don't forget that EE customers can sign up for BT Sport for free for at least 3 months - enough to watch the Ashes init!

I've been watching it on my win10 lappy, using my wife's log in deets....

Good price

If you're struggling to get it, my advice is to simply wait ten minutes for Plusnet to call you, they are constantly phoning me to take this offer
