Just been browsing amazon us and found this link to a limited selection of about 20+ HD-DVD titles for $15.99 or around £8.20 (using xe.com currency convertor as of today). You should be able to order 1 include delivery and still get it for sub £18 customs threshold.

Works out about £3.40 delivery bringing total to around £11.60, still cheaper than over here.

Not bad for a single purchase to boost your collection.

Good prices, shame there are no decent films. All of the ones there loomk like old films, and will probably have no significant difference from a standard DVD

was interested in getting a scanner darkly as I've yet to test any form of animation on my HD player.

true, not a great deal there, but it will appeal to somebody hopefully.

beowulf maybe, but wouldn't appleseed fall foul of the "it's old so a bad transfer" situation. Much like Full Metal Jacket did (in my opinion).

Woohoo. 5 mins in and -18%. Oh well. not for everyone. I'll get one that hits 100% one day.

I thought this was quite good.
Just purchased Blood Diamond, Goodfellas & Training Day.
Bargain.
Hot from me!!:-D

Nah, cause its the second movie that is coming out soon. And anyway, it would still look good as its animation... no film grain

Just bought The Cowboys - has a good review here dvdtalk.com/rev…609
