Don't - its a digital signal not analogue. There is a big con with higher priced cables. If you want all your 1 and 0s neatly alligned buy a £100 cable.....but you can't actually see the digital data transmission only the picture (check the Gadget Show Website.....I remember it mentioning this there) - the actual outcome of the picture is identical if you buy a £1 cable or a £1000 cable.

Its a HDMI cable - it is solely to transmit from a HDMI source (PS3, XBOX 360, SKY HD, etc) to the HDMI output device (HDTV). I think they have put that on as an example maybe.

Get on eBay, you can get longer ones for just pennies more, or this size for pennies less.

Thanks for posting.

At 75p per metre it would only cost around £30 billion to circle the Earth with HDMI cables...

You could probably get a bit knocked off if your buying in bulk, just a thought

You need v.1.4 for 3D TV I think...not ALL HDMI cables are equal but you should never need to spend more than a tenner for a cable!

Indeed, and when your dealing with long runs 10m+ then the quality of the cable IS important EVEN with digital signals.

man on the street can't go wrong for £1.49 a cable, ordered a couple and voted hot

what's the point of this cheap hdmi, when you can buy proper Monster cable and have better picture ? that's what I did.

Hopefully you are being ironic.....if you are serious then sorry you were duped by their sales pitch.

Monster are overpriced and you get the exact same picture as with a standard cheap as chips cable (tests have been carried out showing no actual difference in picture quality)

When did £2.80 become "pennies less" than £1.49

i did my own research and 100 quid monster is better than 1 pound cable, about 100 times better.

Seriously?! Is this your first HDMI thread!? X)
Nah, wouldn't touch these cables unless they are 36-carat gold lol

Good price.

Amazon & Play are selling the same cable for £5.

cheaper yes, but i prefer the clothy (or whatever you want to call 'em) cables rather than the rubbery ones on this ebay ones.

Nice. Ordered 2. Hot

i believe everyone on HUKD should have all the hdmi cable they need by now.

Lol.. are there really people paying more then 5 for a HDMI cable?
They should buy at least a £2 one and try it, and then return the more expensive one. There will be no difference in image quality

you've never tried the monster cable obviously.

Gold...

in theory all HDMI cables are the same, in practice though they are not
it's not only about the signal traveling through it but also about quality of plugs and ability to bend the cable
definitely the quality of cable supplied by Virginmedia together with Tivo box is better than the one I brought cheaply from Argos
also I think for 3D the standard must be 1.4
plenty of deals around on v.1.3 as retailers want to get rid of old stock
this cable is advertised as Playstation 3 so I suppose it is not version 1.4
anyway, there are plenty of good deals on HDMI cables on ebay - I got 1.5m v.1.4 for £1.65 delivered

Sounds like someone is desperate to justify his purchase of an overpriced item.

You go on about the difference in quality of image between cables and then you tell us you were happy to spend £1.65 on an ebay one.....which have had warnings about shoddy parts on electrical cables/plugs etc. made in Hong Kong sweat shops with the cheapest parts and not to standard wiring. It takes away your credibility.

Check out this website:

read my post again
I didn't tell that the one from ebay is superior, I only pointed out that Bee's deal is not so much a deal as it's merely standard internet price and Bee's cable is probably v1.3
as for pictures quality where did I tell it is better one? I told that cheap cables are stiffy with not exactly good plugs (you sometimes need to use force to put plug into socket or quite opposite: plug is loose)

I think you would get even better price from China when billions bought

Gold plated end's produce better image...... FACT!!!!!

Price gone up to £3.99 using the link on the deal!!

It's because of the price in gold going up

purchased 2 of these at 1.49 each on the same transaction, only 1 received. Bee say that there was a problem with my card being declined, which is absolute rubbish, in fact they only requested payment for 1 of the cables. Price now up to 3.99 each. Wont be using bee.com again!
