These are fake. How could you possible think these are certified cables. … These are fake. How could you possible think these are certified cables. You can see in the photo that these are clearly fakes. This deal (note logo)HDMI LogoOnly certified and tested HDMI cables are able to carry the HDMI logo. These are fake unbranded rubbish. They may appear compatible but have very obvious performance differences in sound and picture quality.

guessing your the guy with 5 or 6 monster cables in his shed

realblender

There is no shame in that.

I would feel uneasy about it. If it were me.

I'm waiting til they go down to at least £1

I don't know why are people complaining about it being "fake gold". If it was real gold the seller would get more money melting those cables. I bought 3. heat added

and have you seen the price of second class stamps?

Quality isn't an issue, it's a digital signal so it either works or it doesn't. OK, so I probably wouldn't want these buried in my wall if I was wall mounting the TV as who knows how long they work for but otherwise it's a good deal.

Exactly, it's a digital signal! Works or doesn't work. Those who are happy to pay £20-£30 trot on!

Hah, people that believe that branded cables give better quality...

gizmodo.com/363…ger

Seriously, it's all about brand when it comes to audiophiles etc. The best thing is that some "high quality" speakers used copper wiring internally so it didn't matter about the uber-goldplated, diamond studded cable you used.

The only benefit to having a better quality metal in your cable is (as mentioned above), you are hiding it in wall-cavities and don't want to have to rip your wall apart looking for faded wire!

It'll cost £1 to send these so think about the price first and how much they're really getting off these

To those who doubt cheap hdmi cables, do you have any hands on experience with them or just assume theyre bad?

It doesn't matter how cheap hdmi cables are they'll still transmit the same quality to your tv so it's all a big con really. Plus the gold plating does nothing at all except maybe help it corrode slower
