Are my calculations correct in stating that this equates to 5% back (in money terms) off your spend in nectar points or 10% if you wait to spend points in one of the double up promotions ?

Shame they cancelled this years Easter Double Up! I guess this is their way of compensating.
Good deal but the fact that for some bizarre reason Sainsbury's now charge 2p higher than all other supermarkets makes me just go elsewhere! Not sure why they're suddenly charging a higher price than others!
10 points?! What's that? About the equivalent of a billionth of 1p?

Correct

On the whole nectar points are poor value and not worth factoring against Sainsburys much higher prices on the whole.
I save mine for the eBay annual double up nowadays.

Can't remember them ever announcing an Easter double up?

Neither do I. It's normally a lot later in the year.

Yes that's why everyone is different , it's a good deal but not for me because I just filled up and I do around 2k miles a year so I won't fill up for another 6 weeks or so and the deal will be gone by then but heat for the drivers who do lots of miles
WOOOOOW let me stack up those couponssssss

I know I probably sound pedantic but them announcing it won't happen this Easter is not the same as them cancelling it. I know some of the tweets suggest otherwise but they're likely misinformed staff.

I see from the link that it says "We'll also be running a new event in April that we think our customers will be really excited about. We'll be sharing details of that event soon." So I think you're right about this being their alternative.
better than nowt I suppose.....just ..............................we plebs must learn to be more grateful

Now I've just noticed that in the NE. Morrisons is 2p/L cheaper and their More card is worth 1% off, giving a total of 3p/L cheaper.

Thanks for the heads up OP, remember everyone, save the points you collect, this offer usually means a double up is around the corner!
When are they going to do some kind of deal on spending the vouchers? They used to have the odd 'Points are worth double' promotion every now & then. But, they don't seem to do them anymore. I have £185 worth!!

I'd also be a fuel to miss this diesel.

I have a nectar card, but not a clue what I do with the points I earn!
Thanks Chanchi
