Dixons Travels have managed to negotiate an official price reduction for Ipad2. Different Price reduction for different models.

Ipad 2 16GB Wifi down from £399 to £370
Ipad 2 64GB Wifi + 3G down by £48.

This might get cold, but thought this might help someone who is considering buying an Ipad and travelling in near future.

probably the best deal ever posted

most definitly not

There is always going to be people claiming any apple product can never be hot.

If you can save £30 on an iPad, go for it, i love my iPad 2, but i do think fishing for iPad deals is a little pointless as it's only going to be £10 - £30 off. Just get it and enjoy it.

If you want the ultimate tab deals, wait for the times when things like the samsung galaxy tab pop up for sub £300, or the xoom, asus etc.

Bought mine there back in August, phoned ahead and got one reserved before I flew.

Costco. £380-odd Inc VAT

Is it just me or are these really expensive?

spotted these at edinburgh - also had some covers for a quid !!

If you are heading to the US from the airport wait until you get there, Son bought Ipad2 32gb WiFi for £388($599+tax) in August, he could have got this 16gb version for just over £300.

Am I correct in thinking that "Airside" there is no VAT?
If so then the price should be £332.50

That was before, these days Dixons airport is like walking into any RRP selling electrical store, so I suppose it's a good find for whoever is looking at an ipad 2 but as stated if you are going to states and don't need the 3g then cheaper to buy outside airport.

I think that finally stopped after VAT went back up to 20%. The savings are about 10% now from what I saw a couple of months ago. It used to be the place to buy Apple stuff if you could not get access to HE prices.
