How do i get the discount?

Steps
  • Go on your ebay account and go to account settings
  • Then on left hand menu go to addresses and change Registration address to Germany (do not change delivery address)
  • You should get a message congratulating on your move to Germany and then click submit

  • If done successfully you should see the price in £ and EUR

How is 10% better than 20%?

The 20% off discount is for selected sellers who have obviously increased their prices to make it look like you are making a saving when you clearly are not

These are getting lower and lower... Can't wait for Greece's 1% off everything code next year.

I'm not sure at the moment, sorry. Will probably be in the region of £30-£50.

Wow. Nice
What happens if the item you got is faulty, would returning the item be a hassle?
When does it start? Also can you pay for items you've won today and get 10% off tomorrow? Thank yous

Why would it be a hassle? Ppl never seem to understand how this works. You are ONLY changing registration address, your delivery address is still in the UK and you would (presumably) still be buying your item from a UK company or seller, so absolutely no different than anything else you buy on eBay normally, which contrary to what people think offers really good protection with 30 days eBay Money Back Guarantee and up to 6 months (180 days) protection from Paypal.

Pretty much as safe (or safer in some cases) as buying from any other online retailer...

Yes, IME it will work with any items already in your basket but unpaid regardless of how they were purchased (auction, buy it now, best offer)
and min spend would be?

Yes, I have done this before with the other ones, so provided they don't suddenly change the terms then yes it should work. I'm pretty sure the only thing it cares about is when payment is made i.e. the checkout stage, not when the item was won or added to basket...
Anyone know the start time and end time for this deal tomorrow (UK time)?

Most likely have to pay vast more tax and wages to run the UK side of the eBay, whereas in us they pay off and run in states to avoid tax and low wages meaning they can offer these discounts
