I have had a look at these in store, and the whole new philips range looks really nice. The picture looked superb.

I also just had a look amazon have also just reduced it but only to £499.

This is such a huge saving. It very tempting.

this is a very good tv! my 5403 model is running halo 3 ODST right now :). looks very good! put the dark knight on bluray and turn the virtual surround sound on and u will see what the tv is worth :)! dont know about the price tho. i paid £295 with quidco + 15% off voucher @ additions direct b4 xmas and that was for the newest model out (5403). hope this helps somebody

Upscaling DVDs go upto 1080p not worth having Blu-Ray with 32" if you check on Amazon and reevoo plenty of positive user reviews. You can get very good HD ready LCDs a lot cheaper than this from Samsung,LG and Toshiba
