Heads Up - Rarer Amiibo In Stock Instore Tesco (WFT / Villager / Marth) - £10.50

Found 13th Jan 2015
So, did the usual check of my Local Tesco Amiibo section and it was refilled with some rarer amiibo so it might be worth a trip if you are after these.

I picked up Wii Fit Trainer, Marth and Villager for £10.50 each, which I accept is the retail cost, but is far cheaper than ebay or amazon.

No Pit, Falcon or Little Mac though, but having said that there were no labels on the shelf for them and it was too early in the day for the Full Time member of staff to be on department.

Which store please?

It's really annoying that they deface these by peircing them with the security tag, really puts a spanner in the works if you're a collector.

I never knew The Villager, Kirby and Marth had Silver pointy noses?

Sloth/Mod

Not sure which store OP has spotted them but Extra store @ Hampton, Peterborough also has all these in which i saw at the weekend. Also in our store they don't security tag them.

I wish I knew Pit and Falcon were rare, I'd have bought them when I saw them in GAME the other day.

Game have hiked to £14.99 in the stores I have visited

and they lost them as 10 on their site. I walked out aswell as other checking them out for that price. 2 weeks later they still have the same stock all untouched. morons.

Any amiibo is rare in my local Tesco: they've never stocked them. They don't seem to like Nintendo though, would rather use massive amounts of shelf space advertising pre-orders for PS/Xbox

That's got to be worth at least £50,000 on ebay

Thanks OP that's my local store!

Anyone know if there a way of checking local store stock online?

why put a security tag on something that costs £10?

Tesco policy is that anything over £10 needs a tag.

If it's boxed (and not sealed) there should be a tag in the box or around it.

Also in Bristol's Cribbs Causeway store, loads in there. Got one of each and there were still about 4 left on the shelves of each

I just want to say thanks for not buying them all! Hopefully they end up in the hands of collectors rather than eBay profiteers. :-)

Wish my local Tesco stores stocked amiibo. They don't sell any Nintendo products any more, actually.

It was very hard leaving 3 sets of the Holy Trinity on the shelf, but I took it that I was buying the ones I am after for a sensible price, and that a heads up was better for everyone.

Definitely! Must have taken a lot of willpower to walk away from them, haha. You can consider it your good deed for the day.

Just picked up all three. Left the rest. Now if only I could find cap falcon!

Thanks OP!

All 3 Tesco stores in my area haven't sold anything releated to the Wii U for well over a year now, I have no idea where I have to go to find a Tesco store that actually does

4 Tesco stores in Inverness and to my knowledge, none sell anything Wii u related.
