Some people actually are pleased for this offer and go every year. If you choose not to buy The Sun, that's your perogative, but please don't put your negativity on here

Cold!!!!! And you know why!!
Full of tattoos and beer bellies....... and that's just the women.
Always good to hear from people who don't like something based on never having gone on it!

We go on one of these every year, I'm not sure where else you can get a self catering break, for 4 nights, for under £100 for a family of 4, by the coast?

There are sites I'd avoid such as pontins, but that's personal preference, there are others we've been back to again and again because they're a great location, with plenty to do locally.

Horses for courses.

It’s not negativity by any means!!
Not for me so voted cold!
COLD
Had mixed experiences myself, you just have to research where you want to go unless it's sites that you're familiar with, had some enjoyable decent priced weekends away, but also I've chosen badly, don't get me wrong I'm no snob but for example avoid pontins unless you like holidaying with a bunch of feral chavs !
Did this at the beginning of September. Hol cost just over £300 altogether, and was a basic caravan. Looked at haven website nearer the time and price was £250. Wasn't happy but at the same time friend went to Cornwall during easter and paid £108 for her family of 5. So all depends where you stay.
lord only knows the type of people you'll be sharing your holiday with at £9.50...
Hot from me. Don't care what others think they need to move on

Had a great holiday at Devon Cliffs this year, through this offer, thoroughly recommend this as a choice for family of all ages. Normally choose Trecco Bay, but thought this was a better camp and holiday overall.
Had plenty of good hols with this offer, but stopped a couple of years ago, as the school holiday dates were nigh on impossible to get any more.
Never had a bad few days away on these breaks, Infact we go every year around April then abroad in the school holidays, no there not to everyone’s liking but then there’s a lot of up their own.... well you know the rest!

Thanks for the input.

I've stayed in Butlins with this offer a few times.

Not sure how you come to the conclusion it's just for chavs?

Your family and friends
Use this twice a year for a little family holiday, always had a very nice static caravan, never bought the paper once.

Can you remeber the breakdown of your holiday for it to cost £300?
This year on these we have been to Devon Cliffs for £73.00 which is a lovely camp for exploring South Devon and just done xmas fantasy at Butlins for £38.00 (didn't bother with wristbands as kids to old for Santa but they could have been added for £20pp) the camp is decorated lovely at Xmas.

3 bed basic caravan. Haven Church farm, Pagham. Weekdays. Included entertainment and bedding. This was definitely the most we've ever paid for a sun holiday. But ill still collect for next summer and be looking more at Devon. There are some bargains out there.
Had a brilliant holiday in Italy this year and paid a total of £150 for 4 of us. Didn’t buy a single paper either. Will definitely be doing it again next year. Thanks for the heads up!

When you start booking it’ll be the 1st code you can enter. X I’m sure it’s the same for sun savers x
Hi Guys.

We're looking to do this for the first time this year.

I know that some parks are not available on all dates.
We have seen that Butlins is not available during school holidays.
Can I still pick this as one of my 4 if all my dates are school holidays?

I'm aware this would mean I wouldn't get it, would rather that than put a 4th unwanted place down etc.

I think you're getting confused. If you're booking online you pick 4 parks and dates to improve your chances of getting a match, you can swop and change as many times as you like until you find something suitable. If your search is successful you'll be able to book a holiday there and then.

Thanks. Last year I stayed on Lake Garda. £75 for the whole week. Used as a base and was able to see Milan, Verona, Venice as well as some towns around Lake Garda. Would have cost £1,800 peak season.
A big hello to the negative comment people.

We were looking at Lake Garda this year having stayed (with the sun) around the Venice area. We had a fantastic time! What campsite did you stay at and would you recommend it? Thanks!

We stayed in Bella Italia. The local town (10mins walk) Peschiera Del Garda was beautiful. Walking distance to a Lidl as well to pick up food. Train in town takes 15mins to Verona which is lovely (Juliet Balcony plus a coliseum). Park is huge, not much for kids if weather not great (had a few restaurants which was about 10 euro for a main). I made the mistake of flying to Venice (good 90min train ride), Verona would have been so much better as we chose not to rent a car.
We perhaps spent 250 euros between us on trains as visited Verona, Venice and Milan plus return to Venice airport. Defo fly to Verona.
