thanks:-)

thanks

So boring now same deals every event.. Yawn!

Thanks for listing all the offers!

Thanks! I appreciate the effort. Never commented on anything before but do read other comments. A lot of people need to learn that if you've nothing nice or nothing of value to say then don't say anything at all. I guess those people are just attention seekers though!

Anyone know if the car seat is any good?

We have our first due in Jan. Can anyone tell me which of these are essentials for a new born? Out of our depth!!! Ha

@brook_agun try Google a few "newborn essentials" and look at a few websites to get a good idea. it's what we did

Thanks for posting all of that, voted hot. Agree with others though the baby events at all the supermarkets are boring now same stuff and not fantastic prices

Wet wipes and nappies!! Also I found I can never have enough baby grows!

Damn, I was hoping for a reduced travel cot

Might always be the same but they are the essentials and people do keep having babies who need the essentials lol. We're due or second so am thankful for the heads up to get nappies and wipes in. Hopefully some neutral baby grows cos it would seem it's not popular to do the surprise gender anymore. Lol.

Ps if you're bottle feeding the tommee tippee prep machine is a good price. Argos sell the filters the cheapest.

agreed! don't fall for the trap of unecessary baby items that are on sale such as electric steam steriliser or perfect prep machine, good old microwave sterilisers are brill but wait for them to come on sale, they aren't worth full price, I think I bought mine at £10.99 !

some aldi stores have travel cots for 19.99 atm

Dont know if you prefer a particular nappy brand but aldi's mamia nappies are brilliant i have used them with all of my children and 1st size are £1.49 per pack

Argos outlet on ebay has some great deals on travel cots

Thanks folks!! Probably won't need anything. Think I'll just lock it in a cupboard most of the time.

Haha!! Think I'm going to be the worst parent in history.

The Koodi Pop-Up ones are really good as they fold down so tiny. The first size for up to 6 months is £22 delivered @ Amazon: amazon.co.uk/gp/…E0/, same price at Asda online too.
The larger size from 6 months up is more expensive at £33, so the cheapest option is probably the Red Kite ones for £27 at Asda or Amazon again.
There will probably be a travel cot in the Baby Event though, the supermarkets tend to do one nearer £25, and the Asda Baby Event is due this month too.
Sorry if too much info, it's my job.

I agree so many people with their pontless unnecessary comments!

Plenty of nappies and wipes are essential! Especially the size 2's as they aren't in size 1 for long at all! Also perfect prep machine is definitely an essential! Especially at 2am! I find the filters are cheapest at tesco.
Good luck

Nappies from size 1 up ...i used approx 3-4 boxes of size 1 but had to buy size micro when our boy was born because he was small (5lb 4oz), the size i hadnt stockpiled. I bought jonhsons or pampers sensitive wipes on offer in asda or tesco if they were reduced to 12 for £7 but now use asdas own brand little angels as 12 for £6 without any offer. Buy some cotton wool or cotton sheets for wetting to give your baby a quick wash or as an alternative to wipes...i did this and alternated with the wipes above from day 1 and my son wasnt sensitive with it. Buy some of the baby oil wash etc too if you seen reduced. Also bottles and steriliser...if you are bottle feeding the tommee tippee perfect prep is a life saver! But asda and amazon usually have it on offer for around £60.

Oh and ive found amazon cheaper for perfect prep filters...one will last approx 3 months. Also tommee tippee sangenic nappy bin a good buy...better than angel care bin, it and replacement cartriges usually cheaper on amazon.

What baby and toddler event?? I went in to my local tesco, asked about 3 different workers and they looked at me like "what baby and toddler event??"

Not live on the website yet.

Well not even in the store...

Event on instore at Seacroft Leeds

Sorry all, it is in stores and online, I'll add pictures of the leaflet when I get a chance, as the direct link doesn't work. This is from the groceries website, and it's live on Tesco Direct too:http://www.tesco.com/groceries/MarketingContent/Sites/Retail/superstore/mercury/p/i/zones/baby-event/2015/new/baby-event-header.jpg

There's not a baby event in store on online particularly. Wish I'd waited to vote now. Sadly voted hot but now vote cold!

tesco.com/gro…ent

I'm not bothered about votes, but that's the link for the Tesco Groceries side of the Baby & Toddler Event offers, and I've managed to fix the main link now that Tesco have updated their web page. If there is anything particular you are looking for I'll be happy to help.
