Headspace is great, it’s cheaper to do a years membership with anxiety U.K. for £30 I think and you get a years headspace for free. They also do a student membership

Would be interested to hear from those who use it if it's any good?

I use it and I like it. I think if you are new to meditation it is a good way to learn.

There are a lot of "courses" to choose from, aimed at helping with specific areas, such as: anxiety, creativity, etc etc. Then there are single episodes designed for individual topics, too.

You can select how long you want meditations to last, and there is not a lot of talking by the instructor, but enough to make you feel like you are learning.

I would say, for £44, it is worth it for sure. I think you can do a 1 week trial, but I don't know where that would land you in regards to eligibility for this offer.
We're always taught the more effort we put in, the more we get out of life. But of course this isn't always true. Take falling asleep for example, you can prepare in the right way, put yourself in the right position and go to yourself comfortable, but after that you can't force it to happen.

If you have a student membership with Spotify, this is free for a year.
Certain corporate entities have negotiated an discounted annual rate of £10 for their employees. Mine hasn't, but I'm aware that employees of LBG may have access to this heavier discount.

And it's messages like that that lead to mental health issues in my opinion(not your post but the "you get out what you put in" message. Why delude people to think that then end up feeling rubbish when it doesn't happen!? I understand that generally if you out in more effort you are likely to do better than had you not out in that effort but the statement in itself and the teachings/ connotations give a negative message and false hopes. And tbh in turn it's ultmothrn blaming the individual for their position/unhappiness ie. Oh your not where you want to be well I guess it's because you didn't out in enough effort (bullcrap)

Lol sorry for rant but that's my 2 cents

Hear ya! exactly. It's the same with the "take a chance" saying. It's like ok I get I need to put myself out there but in all honesty you also need to be given a chance not that I expect things to just fall into my lap and be given, but for example say you apply for a job, I can apply for hundreds and take a chance on them but unless an employer choses to give me a chance then it's not gonna make a difference.
Honestly we need to change the meeages we give people with these "inspirational" quotes. Because when people believe that good things happen if you do good things and they don't see evidence for that it's a slippery slope .....

Oh would also be interested to know how the paid version compares to the free version and if it is worth the upgrade?
If you want a free solution try Insight Timer. It gets very good reviews and has loads of content

It might be worth posting this as a deal in itself. I'm sure there's lots of people out there who could benefit from this.

(I would post myself but I didn't want to steal your thunder :D)
